Lefty Blogger Venom

Some guy named Mithras got some blog-play for posting a nasty "Conservative Blogger Taxonomy," attacking a lot of the bigger conservative bloggers in personal terms.

I can't really cry foul, because, um, I've done that on occasion myself.

Pretty pissed off not to be included, though.

Bill from INDC has a roundup of those who bothered reacting, including from Dean Esmay.

He also wonders why the tolerant left can't seem to be capable of criticizing Michelle Malkin without resorting to attacks on her sex and, uhhh, her race.

Doesn't seem very tolerant.

He also notes that there is no female non-white blogger on the left of nearly the influence of Ms. Malkin. Perhaps that's what's driving them so batty about her.

They preach colorblindness, we actually practice it.

I've razzed Oliver Willis seven bazillion times on this blog, and never once did I allude to the fact that he's black. How on earth would such an attack advance any cause?

I don't really get it... I guess it's along the lines of why gay-friendly comedians are allowed to make gay jokes without any fallout. When someone knows you're on their side, you can admit, Okay, Kath Griffin makes a good point; we can be a little silly and bitchy sometimes, and what the hell is our deal with "It's Raining Men" anyhow?

I think many liberals similarly imagine they have carte blance on the race question.

But I'm not sure they have the bona fides of racial tolerance they presume they do. Their starting assumption -- that if you're a person of color any shade darker than pale you are expected to think in a certain way -- seems expressly racist to me.

Consider: What if I began knocking VonKreedon for being a race-traitor? Selling out the white race and such?

"Racial solidarity" morphs easily into "race loyalty," which seems to me to be the very definition of racism.

But to the left, it's only racist if whiteys do it.

If it weren't for double-standards, many on the left would have no standards at all.

Right Wing Nuthouse Returns Fire: I would have done this myself, but I'm too busy being a serious, respectable citizen journalist.

"What if I began knocking VonKreedon for being a race-traitor"

You mean he's not??

"If it weren't for double-standards, many on the left would have no standards at all."

Ace, you didn't come up with that, did you? Tell me you heard it elsewhere, 'cause it's perfect.

If you *did* come up with it, run with it-- it's a helluva lot catchier than Affordable Family Formation.

Cheers,
Dave at Garfield Ridge

It's old, but I think I came up with it. I've said it before (a bunch of times; there's nothing new on this blog) and I don't remember reading it from someone else.

But if I subconsciously plagiarized, I'm willing to apologize.

"But to the left, it's only racist if whiteys do it."

Actually, Ace, it's only racist if it's done not according to the PC way, whether it's white, black, brown, or polka dot. Of course, then the response is that the Michelle Malkins of the world are only parroting whitey anyway, so what difference does it make?

I'm no a youngin anymore, but it's been my observation through several political metamorphoses that the worst racists are those of the color they are racist about loudest.

Are neocons racist? Some. Are libs racist? Nearly all.

I did a long post on this yesterday, as well. Some lefties finally stepped forward and condemned this dick, but it took some time.

Also, he apologized today...for conservatives being stupid and humorless scum or some such.

Their starting assumption -- that if you're a person of color any shade darker than pale you are expected to think in a certain way -- seems expressly racist to me.

Actually, I think their starting assumption is that *all* people deserving of tolerance by their betters are expected to think in a certain way. If you don't, you're either Evil, or a subliterate cretin.

But these people can *understand* white males who espouse evil views. Under their worldview, this is a possibility, since they might benefit, or think they might, from the McHitlerburton RethugliKKKan regime. They're The Man; Cheney might give them big sacks filled with oil nuggets or something if they help him oppress People of Dark Complexion.

But people of other races? It's one of those "does not compute" scenarios that Kirk always used to crash evil computers. It explicitly goes against self-interest for persons of color to support the people who want to reinstitute slavery. And this leads them down the path of racism - you have to rule out Evil, so you have to conclude Stupid (or Stupid/Evil.)

it's only racist if whiteys do it.

Absoloutely! And by defintion, if one applies a certain standard only to one's enemies, then these are not standards at all but cheap tricks designed to beat your enemies with.

In every public discussion (or rather, Liberal tirade) about racism, the seething hatred, resentment, prejudice, and active bigotry of blacks against whites is completely ignored, or (at best) justified by slavery. But as a justification to make up for past wrongs, when those same wrongs are visited upon an entire group who weren't even alive at the time, this smacks of Nazism. Or as Clarence Thomas put it: "there is no such as a debtor or a creditor race." We now live in the Liberal upside-down world where the government has sponsored racism against white people by mandating that blacks shall be given "preferntial treatment" in matters of education, employment, housing etc. To my knowlege, never before in history has the vast majority of people in a country (White 75%) have been put at a disadvange by a small minority (black 14%) without war. The Liberals were not responsible for spreading the civil rights of blacks, instead they did the Liberal thing: they took a very popular idea whose time had come and exaggerated it and pimped it into the monstrosity we have today. And after years of being called racist and demonized by Liberals, conservatives have just finally rolled over and given up. Someday the people will grow tired of this terrible wrong and the SCOTUS will reverse it, but not for a very long time and certainly not in time for many white people to benefit from their new found freedom.

Mithras has no talent and is dumb as a rock.

Amen. And the prolefeed given out by the MSM to the proles is as racist as and stereotypical as of the insane rants of Gobbels. But what is most frightening about all of this is that many Liberals know this and yet justify it with the same insanity as Doublethink:

dou•ble•think ('d&-b&l-"thi[ng]k), noun, Date: 1949 : a simultaneous belief in two contradictory ideas.

Here is how Winston Smith described doublethink in the novel 1984:

"To know and not to know, to be conscious of complete truthfulness while telling carefully constructed lies, to hold simultaneously two opinions which cancelled out, knowing them to be contradictory and believing in both of them, to use logic against logic, to repudiate morality while laying claim to it, to believe that democracy was impossible and that the Party was the guardian of democracy, to forget whatever it was necessary to forget, then to draw it back into memory again at the moment when it was needed, and then promptly to forget it again: and above all, to apply the same process to the process itself. That was the ultimate subtlety: consciously to induce unconsciousness, and then, once again, to become unconscious of the act of hypnosis you had just performed. Even to understand the word 'doublethink' involved the use of doublethink.'

Best description of Liberalism I ever read. And well it should be, for Orwell was describing the Leftist/Liberal post WWII governments of the UK!!!

Winston Churchill had a saying that describes how I feel about Liberals-

They have all the virtures I dislike and none of the vices I admire.

Democrat Senator Rueben Gallego, who served his wife with divorce papers when she was nine months pregnant so that he could marry his side-piece, counsels us that we should not judge Graham Platner for his infidelity because these things are personal matters, Racists:

Sahil Kapur
@sahilkapur

Sen. Ruben Gallego, D-Ariz., on Platner: "We know that Graham has lived not your typical political experience. He's been very clear and open with his wife, and they worked through whatever they worked through. At the end of the day, this man has had 60 more town halls than Susan Collins has. He's winning the polls, he's willing to accept that he has grown as a person, and I think we should accept that."

Gallego says the drip-drip of revelations won't harm Platner's campaign.

"I think you guys are all in a bubble here right now. The drip, drip that's actually happening is Americans are really, really hurt the fact that gas is still high, food is still high, they can't buy a home, you can't afford rent. They're not going to care about text messages and everything else like that that happened years ago, especially when it was worked out between spouses."

I like that he says that it's okay that Graham Platner sexted 12 different women within months of marrying the woman to sponge off her because he wasn't then "living a political life" -- the clear meaning being, "We all cheat, we just don't cheat when we're running for office, and he didn't know he was running for office when he was sending dicpics to half the women he ran into."
Except he was running: His own wife turned the sexts over to his campaign.
And obviously Reuben Gallego didn't let his "political life" get in the way of his extramarital dating life:

Funny -- if you don't mind clicking on TikTok. "Amy.Pranks.22" set up an AI scam-call screener which replies to a foreign scammer trying to get her bank information with Trumpian bluster. This might be fake because I don't see how a program can respond in real time, but it's funny.

The ULA rocket just launched
Thanks to Joyenz
The rocket's enormous engines are fueled by "the volcanic heterosexual lust between James Talarico and his Neighbor With a Uterus 'girlfriend'"
I hope Amazon's rocket works better than the Amazon Prime app does as far as allowing people to watch the black and white version of "Spider-Noir"
From the CA Post:

Spencer Pratt is now Karen Bass' biggest headache.

A bombshell California Post poll conducted with McLaughlin & Associates shows the reality TV star-turned-mayoral candidate has surged to a statistical tie with the incumbent mayor.

And voters blame homelessness, affordability and the direction of Los Angeles as the reason for turning on Bass.

Pratt now leads the field with 30.1% support, compared with 29.5% for Bass, setting up a razor-thin race heading into next week's primary.

Socialist councilwoman Nithya Raman sits in third place at 23.4%.

Thanks to beckster
Just like "Spartacus" Corey Booker, now that James Talarico is running for a higher office, he unveils his previously-unknown "girlfriend" and hooboy, it just so happens she used to work for him, and, get this, likes to "dance the night away" at gay bars
Gee I wonder where they might have met
Oh and she's a vegan
When Corey Booker needed a "girlfriend," he conjured up known LGBTQ activist Rosario Dawson. How convenient that when these guys need a girlfriend to show off to the normies that just happen to find an activist with a strong history of and interest in Supporting Gay Men
But seriously, this James Talarico romance with a Neighbor with a Uterus is a love story for the ages. The passion of their lovemaking is hotter than a blue star with a core of Primordial Sex Atoms created in the Big Bang
And just like that, #PunchANazi became Punch a Ballot for a Nazi
"Teen" charged with five counts of attempted murder after attempting to run down police officers with his car in yet another "teen takeover" permitted by woke racist incompetent Chicago mayor Brandon Johnson
Johnson's response to the "teen takeovers" of streets and businesses that he refuses to make arrests to stop is to go after social media companies for not deleting messages to coordinate the "teen takeovers." Um, they're supposed to find these messages and delete them in real time?
It makes no sense but he has to offer an "alternative" plan to just arresting lawbreakers -- which he absolutely refuses to do, saying we "can't arrest our way out" of rampant crime.
Future Tucker Carlson guest James Talarico:
James Talarico
@jamestalarico

Black Americans in a church.

Mexican Americans in a store.

Asian Americans in a spa.

Radicalized white men are the greatest domestic terrorist threat in our country.

He's referring to three mass attacks committed by white men in, oh, the past six or eight years. There were a huge number of mass shootings and bombings he had to skip over to cherry pick three committed by white men. Which kind of makes me think that "white men" are not the greatest terrorist threat in our country.
No, I doubt he'll be a guest on Tucker Carlson. The only thing that Tucker clings to that he claims makes him "conservative" is a palpable hatred of gays. Any time there's a communist enslaving their population and executing dissenters and conservatives, Tucker praises that dictator by saying "at least he represses the homos!"
