SwiftVets Rally?I think the SwiftVets have already done all political damage they're capable of, but if they do have a rally this weekend as this unverified comment suggests, perhaps as many people as possible ought to show up, just to thank them for their guts and bravery. posted by Ace at 01:27 AM
CommentsAce, In the SwiftVet thread, Chief claims to be going forward with what was mentioned earlier and then pulled. The item regarding a former Sec. of the Navy and Kerry's discharge status. I am trying to confirm but it is in the thread at the Swifties and they don't seem to be pulling it this time. Posted by: Dan on October 30, 2004 01:31 AM
I don't like link-whoring, but I have to make an exception--TOO important... Rally and ANNOUNCEMENT on SUNDAY at the Capitol steps about Kerry's NOT HONORABLE DISCHARGE. Click me for info, and PLEASE make a post! This is legit--and not just Swift Vets, it's on with freepers as well. Thread at the SVBT includes a bunch of us SVBT "fans" and such. If Kerry loses, the Swift Boat Vets and John O'Neill will have the credit for unmasking the "war hero". It will have been a great service to our nation. And a moral lesson. It communicates to all ambitious men and women that if you betray your comrades in arms to advance your personal goals, if you exaggerate or lie about your service - it will eventually catch up with you. From Archimedes: Democrats are really now arguing that it's time to open the Big Tent to Nazis:
At Insty:Link to Ed Driscoll's post here Black Conservative Perspective says there's a "Woke Civil War" going on in the left over this Nazi, with Race Marxists -- mostly black -- absolutely determined to cancel him, while the straight-up Communists -- mostly white rich-bitch nepo babies -- are fighting like hell for him. As many have noted: Communists are always willing to make a tactical alliance with Nazis. (And, of course, Communists are just totalitarian socialists with an internationalist foreign policy, while Nazis are totalitarian socialists with a nationalist foreign policy. They're two anti-human peas in a pod.) The white communists are fighting hard for this guy because he is an open, avowed communist, and they think his completely-fake "normal blue-collar guy" persona can be used to do what they cannot do, sell communism to the working class.

Antifa can't be Nazis, I mean it's right in their name. (But National Socialists aren't socialists -- the name means nothing!) "Maine Kampf" thanks to Fenelon Spoke, who nabbed it from Daniel Greenfield

Original KISS guitarist Ace Frehley dies at age 74
I heard that his solo album, back when each member of KISS cut their own record, was pretty good. Here's that solo album, from 1978. Sounds a bit like The Sweet.

Eleventh Starship/Superheavy a complete success
"On the eleventh orbital test flight today of Starship/Superheavy, SpaceX basically achieved all its engineering goals, with both Superheavy and Starship completing their flights as planned, with Superheavy doing a soft vertical splashdown in the Gulf of Mexico, and Starship doing a soft vertical splashdown in the Indian Ocean."
