Quote: "That was really the extent of our involvement. We found his e-mail address, posted it, and encouraged readers to e-mail him. "

I'm not sure why he included a reference to Malkin's take on it at the time, it certainly doesn't help in making this look serious...

"So, some terrorists could have nuclear ambitions. Before my morning coffee, so could I-- and I'd have a better chance of realizing those ambitions before the pot finishes brewing than this fruitcake ever would using plans like this."

kewl. here's a snippet:
*From time to time we like to have a little fun with jihadis. We post the e-mail addresses of those running terrorist websites or those who leave pro-terror messages at them. Posting Ahmed's address was meant to be a childish prank. Nothing more. After all, what could be more fun than signing a terrorist up for a gay singles website?*

You people are happy about this? A dissident's right to free speech and privacy has been trampled over by the jackbooted alphabet crew, and you applaud?

Personally I'm unhappy that bullshit theatre like this gets promoted as though it is something useful rather than actual achievements.

It occupies the place on the front page of this blog that could have gone to the news that Indonesia arrested 4 linked to the Bali bombings who are also connected to the as yet uncaptured master bomb maker still loose in Indonesia.

And to correct Ace, no, that blog didn't literally help and he's not literally a terrorist. I had Osama's phone number back in 2000. I suggested people give him a call at that time. If the CIA decided to use it for plotting bombing coordinates at a later date then that's a course of action completely unrelated to me. And I'd be a self-promoting wanker for suggesting otherwise.
Kinda like this Jawa idiot.
