Mobile Strip Club

Notable arrests yesterday in the parking lot of Tampa's Raymond James Stadium during the Bucs - Bears game, arising from a mobile strip club:

Undercover officers fumbled upon the business running under the name Déjà Vu when they found them distributing flyers promoting the mobile strib club. Police found several bouncers and dancers inside the 40-foot-long 1987 motor home.

Police found alcohol being sold inside and lap dances being conducted at $20 if the girl was topless and $40 if she was nude. Officers confiscated $2,000 and the arrests were made before kickoff.

I have no clever comment to make and merely marvel at the 'why didn't I think of that' business savy of the alleged entrepeneurs. Aside from the illegality, an idea of simple, elegant genius.

For better effect, place near visitors' team bus/locker room...

They have something similar at Longhorns' games. A guy just drives around the parking lot in a cattle truck and patrons pay $40 for 15 minutes. Or so I've herd. Ha!

I saw this on an episode of CSI - Las Vegas once. It only led to death and mayhem, people. Stay away!

But where do I valet?

Posted by: polynikes on November 28, 2005 04:54 PM

I was at this game. We tailgated for 2 hours before kickoff. I didn't see this RV. Too bad, it seems like a great idea!

The old "rolling bordello" has been a staple of Texas and Oklahoma prostitution for as long as RV's have been around. If I remember right, Texas has a special unit of road-toads whose only job is to track down and bust RV-based bordellos.

Just another example of heavy-handed government intervention in small buisness!

Tampa has the best strip club in the nation - Mons Venus.

And Mons Venus is like a nine iron from the stadium. I guess waiting till after the game was too much to take.

I'm still thinking...

ACE! This is YOUR fault!

Read in the San Diego Tribune that Heidi Fleiss will establish a bordello for women in Nevada. Claims the professional gals have dough, need sex, but are too busy to establish relationships. Don't know where the job openings for 'entertainers' will be held.

Don't think the gittiup's will stop'em, I've seen Party RV's rolling around in the Bay area about a year now....big-time during Buc's games....there are laws effecting open container in a regular vehicle, not sure how this would apply to a business on wheels...kinda odd, the stadium is one block north of many Adult Clubs...Mons Venus to be the 1st...heard Déjà Vu is a adult club...interesting they make this a mobile business ...

It apparently all began earlier this season when a Bucs tailgater's wife asked him if he had enough buns for the hotdogs.

BIG NEWS UPDATE NOT FIRED

From her lawyer

"The irresponsible reports that have been published stating that Maria Bartiromo was fired or is no longer an employee of Fox are absolutely and unequivocally false," Freedman said Friday. "Make no mistake, we have the receipts and witnesses and they will come out whether through the courthouse or otherwise."

He added: "Those reporting her firing or the incredulous facts supporting that fiction have exhibited a complete and utter reckless disregard for the truth."

from anon2020
So what, she quit?
Megyn Kelly (accursed be her name) used to say all the time that Fox has a top female PR person who is a nasty pitbull and leaks nasty claims about anyone Fox is at war with, including those who have left the network. So I guess maybe she technically resigned? I don't know.
NEW: @FoxNews has obtained Lindsay Clancy defense attorney Kevin Reddington's appeal filing to the MA Supreme Court, which includes Reddington accusing the lone holdout juror of being "biased" against those with "debilitating mental illness", which he says is a protected category.

Holiday Break: I've had a rough couple of weeks -- the shoulder is healing now and I'm finally getting decent sleep -- and I've decided to take a long weekend.
I'm taking Friday off, and then Monday off, too.
I have Open Threads for both days and I will post if big news breaks, but if it doesn't -- and it probably won't, news is slow before a holiday weekend -- I'm going to take a four day weekend.

Dolly Parton tells the story of the supposedly real-life Jolene

1977 interview shows that Barbara Walters has always been a seaward and Dolly Parton always had "country class"
Walters actually asks Dolly Parton if she knows that people think she's a joke. This because Walters can't get over the fact that a show-woman has 1, big breasts, and 2, dresses a bit outrageously because, get this, she's an entertainer. A stage performer. You know, someone people pay money to see live and expect them to put on a show.
She never would attack Liberace for wearing glitter-tuxedos. But she's mad that Dolly Parton makes Barbara Walters look bad through association (by being a woman). Babs, you wish people associated the two of you. Believe me, we can tell the difference.
