I've always hated the tactic of choosing the day's most unflattering photo for publication (yeah, even when it's used against somebody like Hillary). But when you start touching it up for hideousness...jeez!

Just need a pair of white, pointy fangs protruding from those ruby red lips and the job would be complete. My guess is the worm who did this has a copy with fangs saved on his hard drive.

You know what? She's still really beautiful (as well as incredibly accomplished and intelligent). There's very little they can do to her to negate any of that.

I like it. They thought they were degrading her, but they did her a favor. It would be really cool if someone with knowledge of the Koran could associate Condi with some Muslim demon or other, and use the picture as proof. Imagine the bargaining power.

I saw that on Malkin this morning and thought it was one of the stupidest things I'd ever seen, down there with the way the interns at Google keep linking pictures of W to search terms like "chump" and "dickface." It will be interesting to see if the broadcast media say anything about the hijinks committed by their pals in the print media, but I'll bet--oh, next month's rent, that they won't.

And kudos to VRWC Agent for the Goa'uld reference. Much more up to date than the Village of the Damned ref I was going to use.
