Cindy Sheehan: End the Occupation of... New Orleans!

She's now screaming about a supposed "machine-gun nest" she claims to have seen (or read about on a left-wing blog, at least) and the dangerous patrols of soldiers in the city.

Wait-- I thought she was complaining just a week ago that Iraq was a bad war because it was keeping troops out of New Orleans. Now she's complaining that there are troops in New Orleans.

Which is it, Mother Peace? I really want to follow your "absolute moral authority" but I can't do so if you keep chaning your stories like a schizophrenic.

She's just a nut case, typical liberal.

I wonder how long it took the radical Left to indoctrinate her. I've been pondering this for a while, but it seems that now, more than ever we should consider this. I mean, if they broke her in anything under two weeks, she's not worth our attention. Really. Who wants to follow someone so weak?

Better we should believe the flaming lib who has required much more intensive brainwashing. You know, the hardcore conservative who underwent months, or years, of subtle bombardment of insane moonbat rhetoric to convince that the Left has always been the enlightened. Oops. Make that The Enlightened.

Spare me the False Idols. I want someone who has demonstrated real strength and resistance to The Cause. Those are The Chosen. Sheehan is small potatoes.

Speaking of potatoes, maybe we could give the Left Dan Quayle. If they could turn him around, we'd have proof of The Enlightened's power.

It's worth considering.

I wonder how long it took the radical Left to indoctrinate her.

I suspect if one looked into her past (very carefully concealed by the media so far) she has been this way since the 60/70's.

I'll bet she has more than one Joan Baez album in her record collection.

Posted by: Bullseye on September 17, 2005 02:30 PM

I'll bet she has more than one prescription for thorazine tucked in a drawer somewhere, and maybe an admission or two to a psych facility along the line as well.

I wanted to ask one of them what it would take for one of them to shoot me.

Tell them your name. I'm sure they'd have been happy to oblige.

Cindy Sheehan owns the entire neo-Marxist worldview. You don't get that overnight. It's a lifelong thing. Which brings us back to the subject of her poor son, Casey.

His mother is, and no doubt always was, rabidly anti-military. It goes with the worldview. So what did her son do as soon as he was old enough? He enlisted.

She begged him not to go. She offered to drive him to Canada. He said no. She offered to injure him so he could escape. He said no. Casey had enlisted.

Knowing what we now know about her raving left-wing politics, we surely know how she felt about that. Furious, insulted, and repudiated. We can also assume that's exactly what Casey intended.

So - did she love her son, or hate him?

This whole thing is a fraud. Camp Casey wasn't her tribute to Casey Sheehan, it was her revenge.

Posted by: lyle on September 17, 2005 03:26 PM

Do most of the left's rants and demands ever make sense? How many do they have that aren't contradictory and self-defeating? Too many, and this is just another clue that says so.

Posted by: Hal on September 17, 2005 04:33 PM

Lyle, that makes a lot of sense. Sheehan's saying she loved her son while supporting the cause of his killers doesn't.

Posted by: Moonbat_One on September 17, 2005 05:47 PM

Camp Casey wasn't her tribute to Casey Sheehan, it was her revenge.

Or a long drawn out "I told you so!"

It's interesting - both Casey Sheehan and Johnny "Taliban" Walker had essentially the same California left-wing upbrining. Both rebelled - one might conclude that they were looking for some structure and something to believe in. One chose the US Army, the other chose the Taliban. Cindy probably thinks that both choices are equally vile (though with a slight soft spot for the Taliban since they stand up to the evil Bushitler).

One quick comment about the "machine gun nests" - I'll get a picture next time I go out if anybody's interested, I live in the New Orleans area and have seen these semi circles (dare I say "crescents"? Nah...) of sandbags in some areas, especially where there has been looting. Nothing offensive about them to a normal person, but we know Sheehan doesn't qualify. Freaking liberals, gripe how the military is NOT here, then when they get here, gripe because they are.

Nothing offensive about them to a normal person...

Bullets are "offensive".

Proper liberal technique is to flail them with milk and cookies THEN threaten them with the dreaded COMFY CHAIR.

If none of that impressive arsenal works - whine.

Sheehan and her crew of lunatics can bleat like wounded goats until Doomsday about how they "support the troops" , but nobody's buying it. These vampires don't give a shit about dead soldiers except as a clumsy political bludgeon. Same goes for displaced poor in New Orleans. If Sheehan or her soul sister Arianna Huffington are such humanists, let them take in a family for a while. Or set up college funds for kids who lost a parent in Iraq. Has any big shit rich lefty done that? I'll patiently wait for their answer.

Posted by: UGAdawg on September 18, 2005 09:59 AM

..let them take in a family for a while..

And have those verminous scum start stealing my silverware and rooting for potatoes in the pansies?

*sniff* surely you jest

What is the UK Regime's plan for protecting the citizens from the savage criminals they've foisted on the populace? They offer NONE. They do, however, have a plan for protecting the savage criminals from the citizens: The citizens must STAY CALM and not get angry and not share videos of citizens being attacked by savage criminals.
The public keeps saying "protect us from the foreign savages you have imported against our wishes and over our objections" and the UK branch of The Regime keeps proposing plans to protect the foreign savages from the public. Soclose to what the public is demanding, just, you know, the complete opposite.
Just a thought: Maybe you wouldn't have to worry about the public attacking the savage criminals if you actually introduced a plan to protect the public from the savage criminals. Maybe they wouldn't feel as if it was necessary for them to protect the public through self-help.
