Groundskeeper Willie And His Amazing FriendsBut it was his description of how the enemy occupied their safe haven that got the most attention. Col. McMaster told of beheadings, gunshot killings, a booby-trapped dead child and kidnappings. "This is the worst of the worst in terms of people in the world," he said. "To protect themselves here, what the enemy did is they waged the most brutal and murderous campaign against the people of Tal Afar. ... The enemy here did just the most horrible things you can imagine, in one case murdering a child, placing a booby trap within the child's body and waiting for the parent to come recover the body of their child and exploding it to kill the parents." The Nazis made one mistake: they were Caucasian in the First Degree. Had their skin been swarthy, they could have taken over Europe, Northern Africa, and a good chunk of the Middle East with the blessing of an awful lot of Americans. posted by Ace at 02:35 PM
CommentsThe Nazis made one mistake: they were Caucasian in the First Degree. Had their skin been swarthy, they could have taken over Europe, Northern Africa, and a good chunk of the Middle East with the blessing of an awful lot of Americans. Truer words were never, ever spoken. Posted by: Allah on September 17, 2005 03:10 PM
balderdash . WWII was back in the non-PC day. Had the Nazis been swarthy, America would have sent eight divisions to Spain in the mid-30s and offered to station the troops in France to fill the gap from the end of the Maginot line to the coast. I'm not sure I get the Simspons reference here. What does Willie have to do with this? Posted by: Hal on September 17, 2005 04:30 PM
It's lame, but I'm making a reference to George Galloway, who sounds like a Nazi propagandist Groundskeeper Willie. Posted by: ace on September 17, 2005 04:47 PM
And you had me racking my brain for actual nazi propagandists named willie. Jeesh! Though briefly mentioned in Wm. Shirer's book, but mostly forgotten by history, there were a number of foreign correspondents in germany,, who went, as we shall say, 'native.' Bob Best is the only name I can recall at the moment and he dropped dead just before or during his trial for treason. I wonder what happened to the rest? Posted by: on September 17, 2005 05:04 PM
I agree with BumperStickerist. Recall that we were led through WWII by FDR and Truman. Now THOSE were what I would like to call Democrats. The Nazi's mistake was being white AND 60 years too early. Shoot - look at the kind of cooperation the western Left is offering to the people who are trying to exterminate the Jews today! Also, it's my understanding that there were a lot of Nazi sympathizers in America back in the day. IIRC, it was mostly based on business interests, and not anti-Semitism, but still. Posted by: Tim Higgins on September 17, 2005 08:03 PM
Charles Lindbergh was a king-hell Nazi sympathizer. But, in late 43/early 44 Lindbergh managed to figure out how to nearly double the range of the P-38 Lightning simply by changing the mix to the carbuerator. The result being that fighters could accompany B29s to Japan nearly a year ahead of the island hopping schedule. Shortening the war and shit.

Really, BumperStickerist , you got a link or something? (Sorry too much Value-rite Vodka makes me question your assertion). Posted by: Warthog on September 17, 2005 11:16 PM
The P-38 was a lousy high-altitude fighter originally. This was due to a mismatched engine and supercharger. Lockheed was forced to use that bogus combo initially because that's the combo the govt dictated they use. Low altitude was fine, high-altitude, the engines fried. [just got done watching a documentary on Lockheed] Posted by: Tony on September 18, 2005 01:27 PM

What is the UK Regime's plan for protecting the citizens from the savage criminals they've foisted on the populace? They offer NONE. They do, however, have a plan for protecting the savage criminals from the citizens: The citizens must STAY CALM and not get angry and not share videos of citizens being attacked by savage criminals. The public keeps saying "protect us from the foreign savages you have imported against our wishes and over our objections" and the UK branch of The Regime keeps proposing plans to protect the foreign savages from the public. Soclose to what the public is demanding, just, you know, the complete opposite. Just a thought: Maybe you wouldn't have to worry about the public attacking the savage criminals if you actually introduced a plan to protect the public from the savage criminals. Maybe they wouldn't feel as if it was necessary for them to protect the public through self-help.
