Hanson Vs. Huffington at 9PM ETGood grief, two big debates. I knew about both, but I didn't know this would be a double-header. Thanks to someone for reminding me. posted by Ace at 08:04 PM

Giants v. Arizona. I already saw this game. Posted by: ace on September 14, 2005 07:50 PM
Packers v. D... nevermind Posted by: BrewFan on September 14, 2005 07:53 PM
It's already started! Zsa Zsa is already hitting her talking points. Posted by: someone on September 14, 2005 08:54 PM
Oh! After starting off with 'Iraq = zero threat', she's now invoking the Sicilian Expedition and challenging Hanson to go all classical on her. This isn't going to be pretty. Posted by: someone on September 14, 2005 09:00 PM
Now she's bashing Talabani. Surprise, surprise. Posted by: someone on September 14, 2005 09:03 PM
This is just embarrassing. She's rambling from one talking point to another with no apparent connection beyond constant talk of 'empire'. It's like that Negri and Hardt book, except she's not actually a terrorist. Posted by: someone on September 14, 2005 09:05 PM
We've got our hurricane reference! Posted by: Sean M. on September 14, 2005 09:08 PM
Dems are missing a huge 'opportunity to redefine national security' as 'security here at home'. (And running away from Iraq.) Oh please, please, let them listen to her. Not that Howlin' Howie needs encouragement. Posted by: someone on September 14, 2005 09:08 PM
HALLIBURTON!!! Posted by: Sean M. on September 14, 2005 09:09 PM
I lived in Seattle for a little while, and there was this homeless woman who pushed a shopping cart full of unrecognizable shit and occasionally ate cigarette butts. She had two grey teeth left and smelled like a bucket of dead dogs. Still smarter than this silly rich bitch. Posted by: UGAdawg on September 14, 2005 09:14 PM
"The war is a plot to kill white, middle class officers." Nice. Posted by: Dave at Garfield Ridge on September 14, 2005 09:16 PM
Hanson just mowing her down... I sense a moonbat audience, however. Posted by: someone on September 14, 2005 09:18 PM
Classical smackdown! Heh. Posted by: someone on September 14, 2005 09:21 PM
(Vietnam... What happened after we left?) Ayup. Posted by: someone on September 14, 2005 09:25 PM
I was thinking Globetrotters Vs Generals. Seriously, these two debates are like putting our varsity against their equipment managers. Posted by: Alex_fs on September 14, 2005 09:26 PM
Its Imperialist, yet AGAINST American interests?? WTF? Posted by: lauraw on September 14, 2005 09:28 PM
Arianna sez: Iraq's not Vietnam, but, um, it is. Smooth. Posted by: Sean M. on September 14, 2005 09:29 PM
Zsa Zsa is more interested in the usual lies about Katrina than in the actual topic. Posted by: someone on September 14, 2005 09:29 PM
Oh lord, why can I listen to this moronic crapdrool and not hear Hitch?? Posted by: lauraw on September 14, 2005 09:29 PM
Earlier: she says it's inconceivable that it would be worth it to stay in Iraq until their gov't works. Guess she doesn't know a lot of Japanese people. Posted by: someone on September 14, 2005 09:31 PM
Why is Chalabi the deputy prime minister? Because people support him, you idiot. Posted by: someone on September 14, 2005 09:32 PM
Just bizarrely unfocused rambling. Does she even glimpse how overmatched she is? Posted by: someone on September 14, 2005 09:33 PM
Somehow she's going on about Judith Miller. Wow, the left really hates her. Ha ha! Posted by: someone on September 14, 2005 09:35 PM
IT'S ALL THE NEW YORK TIMES' FAULT!!! Posted by: Sean M. on September 14, 2005 09:35 PM
The stones on this broad, telling tax cuts are the only sacrifice we've been asked to make. What fucking sacrifice has this vapid human cancer cell ever made? EVER? Running that little cabal of trust fund ass wipe bloggers? Yeah, one can make the argument that the public hasn't been asked to cowboy up in this war, but this sock puppet has no fucking business making that argument. Her idea of sacrifice is generic cream in her latte. Posted by: UGAdawgs on September 14, 2005 09:36 PM
Hitch and Galloway are done. Now, I gotta listen to the WNBA debate. Posted by: Dave at Garfield Ridge on September 14, 2005 09:38 PM
Zsa Zsa directly addressing her watching minions: DEMS HAVE TO GO HARD LEFT! God, I hope the message gets through. Posted by: someone on September 14, 2005 09:38 PM
No offense to the incomparable VDH, of course. Posted by: Dave at Garfield Ridge on September 14, 2005 09:39 PM
Hanson pronouncing it 'Moo-slims' for some reason. Posted by: someone on September 14, 2005 09:40 PM
I love how she's afraid to say Rummy's name. (Lest, perhaps, he appear?) Posted by: someone on September 14, 2005 09:41 PM
Huffington thinks the next election will be about national security? Boy, she's stupid. I'm willing to bet money that, barring terrorist attack, 2006 gets to be all Katrina, all the time. The Dems and the MSM will want it that way. Posted by: Dave at Garfield Ridge on September 14, 2005 09:42 PM
Dave, I'll take that bet. Outside of the affected region, 2006 will be the usual mix of local and national issues. Posted by: someone on September 14, 2005 09:44 PM
I don't take bets with a man or woman (or man-woman) who refuses to sign a name other than someone. Sorry, it's a rule. Posted by: Dave at Garfield Ridge on September 14, 2005 09:47 PM
Ha ha, they're never going to get past this first question. Posted by: someone on September 14, 2005 09:47 PM
Nice, a Saint Sheehan/Kos wannabe going on about 'mercs'. Posted by: someone on September 14, 2005 09:53 PM
Christ, Arianna is playing the same ridiculous Katrina card. Deja vu all over again. Posted by: Alex_fs on September 14, 2005 09:55 PM
Hanson misses a chance to correct Zsa Zsa's lies about recruiting etc. Posted by: someone on September 14, 2005 09:56 PM
Officers aren't enlisted! They don't "re-enlist"!!! Sorry, that really gets on my nerves. Carry on. Posted by: Embittered Redleg on September 14, 2005 09:57 PM
"Is Victor David Hanson going to have to choke a bitch?" Posted by: Alex_fs on September 14, 2005 09:58 PM
Yup, recruitment numbers are the hammer you'll beat up VDH with. Too bad it's wrong. Posted by: Dave at Garfield Ridge on September 14, 2005 09:59 PM
'Corporate imperialism'! LOL. I told you, moonbat audience. Posted by: someone on September 14, 2005 10:00 PM
Sheesh, VDH points out that the fact that the use of armed contractors rose up in the 1990s, and Arianna bursts into flames. I guess she only likes facts that support her. Posted by: Dave at Garfield Ridge on September 14, 2005 10:01 PM
These questioners need to ask more questions about America's imperialism. I'm not hearing enough about that tonight. Posted by: Embittered Redleg on September 14, 2005 10:02 PM
Not a single VRWC questioner. Zsa Zsa finishing on a truly loony rant about Walmart. Posted by: someone on September 14, 2005 10:03 PM
And, of course, HALLIBURTON! Posted by: someone on September 14, 2005 10:05 PM
this should really turn into a drinking game... ya know, take a shot when Halliburton or hurricanes are mentioned... oh, and everyone gets up and dances when you hear "neocon"... Posted by: Rob on September 14, 2005 11:33 PM
What fucking sacrifice has this vapid human cancer cell ever made? EVER? I've been reliably informed she opted for cloth rather than leather interior on her last SUV purchase. You have to realize - THAT is a very very serious sacrifice. Posted by: Tony on September 15, 2005 12:09 AM
Any sentient creature debating Zsa Zsa is a mismatch. This, though, is like watching someone hunt a dairy cow with a high-powered rifle and a scope. Posted by: Shawn on September 15, 2005 01:37 AM
Tony, my apologies at my rather harsh dismissal at Ms Huffington's courage and selflessness. I was also told that she tipped a valet last week in actual American currency rather than the left over Peruvian solis from her trip to Macchu Picchu. I will now return to sharpening my stone ax. Posted by: UGAdawg on September 15, 2005 09:26 AM
It was enjoyable to hear VDH correct Huffington, when she tried, wrongly to say he was being partisan. It was evident by listening to how VDH elucidated the problem of the post cold war military reduction. VDH clearly said this was the product of Dems and Reps and had to repeat himself because Arriana wouldn't listen. VDH actually told Arriana that she didn't listen. "This isn't Crossfire". Hanson is a national treasure. Posted by: vladimir on September 15, 2005 09:00 PM

What is the UK Regime's plan for protecting the citizens from the savage criminals they've foisted on the populace? They offer NONE. They do, however, have a plan for protecting the savage criminals from the citizens: The citizens must STAY CALM and not get angry and not share videos of citizens being attacked by savage criminals. The public keeps saying "protect us from the foreign savages you have imported against our wishes and over our objections" and the UK branch of The Regime keeps proposing plans to protect the foreign savages from the public. Soclose to what the public is demanding, just, you know, the complete opposite. Just a thought: Maybe you wouldn't have to worry about the public attacking the savage criminals if you actually introduced a plan to protect the public from the savage criminals. Maybe they wouldn't feel as if it was necessary for them to protect the public through self-help.
