Does it matter anymore? Heck, did it ever matter to begin with. The Vietnam record of either candidate is irrelevant to their competency to be President. Kerry would have made an awful President not because of what he did 35 years ago, but because of what we would do in the next 4. This is another of those topics that I, for the life of me, cannot justify spending another breath on. Toss this one in the round file next to the Downing Street memos.

Besides, it deepens our understanding of the human condition to know just how detached from reality you can be and still get elected to the Senate from Massachusetts.

Perhaps it is only because of the New Media that we are all aware of what a titanic, collosal, fraud this silly, foppish, fool John Kerry really is. Perhaps there have been many such frauds in the past (like JFK). But I find Kerry's continual demonstrations of complete and total disrespect for the American people breathtaking! And the fact that such a fraud came within distance of being our president is chilling!

Here's Kerry from Meet the Press on Jan. 30, and I don't remember hearing him issue a correction of any sort...

MR. RUSSERT: And you have a hat that the CIA agent gave you?

SEN. KERRY: I still have the hat that he gave me, and I hope the guy would come out of the woodwork and say, "I'm the guy who went up with John Kerry. We delivered weapons to the Khmer Rouge on the coastline of Cambodia."

So apparently he not only provided aid and comfort to our enemies after he got back, he was actually providing them with weapons while he was in Vietnam.

Maybe Dick Durban consulted with him for first hand information about how the Khmer Rouge treated people.
