That as global citizens, and as global businesses, we need to work with other people in the world. Then she relates a rambling and unfocused anecdote about Americans in a Beijing hotel.

When we stop being outraged it becomes commonplace and that's dangerous. A lie told often enough becomes accepted as the truth and it's nearly impossible to ever get the truth back once a lie becomes "fact". The outrageous can become the norm the same way a lie begins to be accepted as fact. When was the last time anyone got really pissed over a terrorist bombing in Baghdad?

I read Ms. Nooyi's speech and was struck more by the clumsy analog than by any perceived anti-Americanism.
