Frist Hints Nuclear Option?; Charles Schumer Calls for "Muskets"

His statement:

As more and more attention has focused in recent weeks on a partisan minority unfairly blocking simple up or down votes on judicial nominees in the Senate, some have claimed that any effort to restore precedent for up or down votes on judicial nominees would affect the rights of Senators when it comes to legislation.

If I must act to bring fairness back to the judicial nomination process, I will not act in any way to impact the rights of colleagues when it comes to legislation. Senate rules and practices now provide many tools for members, and leaders, to see legislative ideas brought to an up or down vote on the Senate floor and there is no need for change in relation to legislative matters.

It is unfortunate that Democrats continue to block up or down votes on President Bush’s judicial nominees, thereby keeping the Senate from doing its constitutional duty. I urge the minority to put aside its partisan blockade, which interferes with our constitutional responsibilities, and join with me to bring fairness back to the process of voting for or against judicial nominees.

Could still be saber-rattling, of course.

Meanwhile... Chuck Schumer calls the head of the Family Research Council "un-American" -- jeepers, I thought we weren't supposed to bandy about that word -- and actually goes a little further than that, too:

Several federal judicial nominees whom Democrats oppose hold strong Christian beliefs, but Mr. Schumer said their nominations are being blocked for unrelated reasons — including their views on the limits of congressional power relative to the states and their opposition to some environmental regulations.

The conservative group’s president, Tony Perkins, “stepped over the line,” Mr. Schumer said. “He said it’s people of faith versus Democrats.”

“That is so un-American. The founding fathers put down their plows and took up muskets to combat views like that — that one faith or one view of faith should determine what our politics should be,” Mr. Schumer said on the ABC News program “This Week.”

I am rather bothered by the suggestion that this dispute over liberal judges is worth having an actual civil war over. Perhaps Senator Schumer disagrees?

We don't know, and of course we cannot expect our fair-and-balanced media to inquire into what he meant.

But do remember the media was awfully upset that DeLay suggested that judges should be "held accountable."

Thanks to "someone" for the last bit.

“That is so un-American. The founding fathers put down their plows and took up muskets to combat views like that — that one faith or one view of faith should determine what our politics should be,”

Funny thing for that smarmy NYC shyster Schumer to say.

Since the guy is hell-bent on pushing his liberal anti-gun views on all of us. You can't even own a musket or even a shotgun in NYC without a permission slip from the Government.

Schumers idea is we have moved past that and now have a herdlike population that can be corraled and moved easily in one direction or another by lawsuits generated from elite groups like the one he comes from. And with no "musketry" available, the people will docilely accept the edicts of the Schumers, the ACLU, and liberal judges.

More irony with Schumer, I find it funny that he is talking about one view of faith determining what politics should be, when the express reason he and the other liberals are opposing people is because of their faith convictions, be it on abortion, gay marriage, etc.

They can throw up smoke screen reasons all they want. If a nominee was pro-choice, they would be approved in a second.

Devout Christians, Catholics or otherwise, or even Jews or Muslims need not apply to be a federal judge according to Chuck Shumer.

Rush Limbaugh, just played a clip of Coci (sp?) Roberts from the round table discussion of George Stephanopolis' show. Roberts suggested that the reason Schumer was thrown in there was because he was Jewish. She said that the FRC was "looking for a Jewish name."

Ah, the civil debate from the left, defend Arabs blowing up Jews, but bash Christians who dare accuse a liberal Jewish senator of being liberal.

Leave it to a gun banner to bring Muskets to a Thermonuclear weapon fight. Dipshit.

The only people getting that permission slip are the celebrities, pols and their friends. You live on Webster, you aint getting shit.

Oh and that stupid censor program would not let me put in c3l3bs for some reason.

Let's be honest. Picture Chuck Schumer with a musket and you're thinking Pirates of Penzance revival.

Tom DeLay, OTOH, is the bad rail baron with six hired guns who's running the poor homesteader off her farm until John Wayne plugs him in the gut.

This works to Republican advantage at election time (no one bought "John Kerry, reporting for duty"), but it bites you in the butt when you're trying to claim Chuck Schumer is a serious threat. DeLay is the Hammer and the Exterminator. Schumer, if he has a nickname, I'm guessing it's something like the Colander or the Manicurist.

Nicholas,

Al D'Amato gave Schumer his nickname, and Chuckie is living up to it well. Do we remember "putz-head?"

Whoa! Cedarford, if that really is you, you've been bloggin here too long!

(Incidentally, when I lived in Manhattan I kept two shotguns.)

Actually, Schumer can be very nasty. If you don't believe me, rent "WACO: The Rules of Engagment" (yeah, I know, I'm a nut).

In response to someone asking why the video tape doesn't show Tyler Robinson's face (PS, it does, but it's crappy video so it's blurry):

Candace Owens
@RealCandaceO

Because as I demonstrated on my show, there were MANY young men that all woke up and decided to dress in Maroon shirts and light shorts on the day of the Charlie's assassination.

The footage can be any one of these young men and in my opinion is likely multiple of them.

If Tyler Robinson's defense would like to contact me-- I'd be happy to supply them the folder of the maroon boys that I began archiving when I noticed the bizarre fashion trend.

I have thus far ID'd two of them, but will focus on IDing the rest of them when I am back on air.

I have maintained that the Feds had multiple decoy maroon boys on the ground that day. Without a clear image, they certainly cannot declare it is Tyler Robinson which is why all the Zionist influencers are hoping they can simply hypnotize the public into trusting blurry images and videos.
For such an "open and shut case" they have thus far provided ZERO evidence of anything outside of a criminal government conspiracy, the likes of which hasn't been seen since the JFK assassination.
More "fedslop" that Cavernous Nostrils is too smart to be taken in by:

Blake Neff
@BlakeSNeff

BREAKING: Lance Twiggs says that Robinson admitted to him in-person on Sept. 11 that the message he had sent the night before (presumably, messages sent while he was trying to retrieve his rifle the night of Sept 10) was true. He says Robinson told him "He wishes he hadn't done it."
Fenix Ammunition
@FenixAmmunition

Photos of the ammunition recovered from Tyler Robinson.

Remington headstamp on the case and despite the somewhat low resolution on the photo you can see the somewhat blunted nature of the projectile's tip.

This is a Remington Cor-Lokt soft point round. It's SPECIFICALLY designed to deform, slow down, and prevent an exit wound. Available at literally every single gun store and sporting goods store that sells ammunition.

In fact, 16 out of the 17 .30-06 varieties manufactured by Remington use some type of expanding, deforming, or fragmenting bullet. Only ONE of their products uses a full metal jacket projectile that could/would be expected to leave an exit wound.

Here's a clip of them sitting in my desk.

This has been the most easily debunked claim of their entire web of lies and it's really mind blowing considering this is exactly what you would choose for an assassination.

But yeah, definitely keep getting all your information from the DEI hire and the Portland pizza boy. I'm sure they know more about this than I do.

Post here, showing Tyler Robinson's ammunition, matching this guy's own box. And it is an expanding-tip hollow-point round.

Boy these Internet Experts (TM) sure do get a lot of things wrong.

Be it sight, sound, smell, or touch
There's something
Inside that we need so much
The sight of a touch, or the scent of a sound
Or the strength of an oak with roots deep in the ground
The wonder of flowers to be covered and then to burst up
Thru tarmac, to the sun again

Boy do they look like absolute dorks.
