"These People:" The MSM's Hatred of the Religious

Michelle Malkin is on Michelle Cottle's case.

Michelle Cottle is, by the way, a perfect idiot, as I have demonstrated before, either on this site in or in my pre-blogging days.

I find it amusing that Cottle and Kurtz find the religious protestors so chuckle-worthy. Funny, no matter how egregiously stupid left-wing protestors behave, the MSM always seem to manage to treat their idiotic protests with the utmost of solemnity and respect.

Its always fun watching the "Peace and Tolerance" crowd launch into religious people with such venom. Their true objection to the Christers is that the Christers beleive they have to answer to a higher power which is not the state.
The Libs see this as an attack on their power which is the state. They're blind to the fact that religion helps to shield the individual from the tryanny of the state (to paraphrase Jung) and helps to allow the individual to be an individual and not some amorphous piece in the undifferentiated mass called "the people".
The irony abounds.

Far be it from me to mention the way all those young people protested "The Man" in Seattle when the WTO met. Somehow the coverage was all this "but they're young people" and "it was only a Starbucks" etc.

Ditto G8 protests. And the human shields in Iraq. And every stupid GreenPeace protest. And the protests from "The Arab Street".

Screw the MSM. Screw them right in the ear. (Sorta South Park)
