Video: Ward Churhill Pushes Reporter in Anger Over Plagiarized Art

Can you lose your tenure for just being an f'n' douchebag?

And... Video of Maurice "Moonbat" Hinchey on Hannity and Colmes.

Get a load of this guy.

Update-- Churchill Will Go Quietly... For $10 Million: Otherwise he'll sue you and everyone you know and work with, Jerky-Boyz style.

Thanks to JimW.

OT: There's a little contest going on at King of the Blogs and last I looked, Dr. Sanity's blog was only a few votes away from tying it up.

Please help out by going there and voting if you would. I hope Ace won't mind me posting this here. Thanks!

You're so funny Ace. All the mockery about the left and 'gannongate' and yet you spend a huge amount of time bloviating about... Ward Churchill? As if he anyone knew who he was, cared who he was, or that he even mattered...

good stuff.

Crikey, it's like this guy's life is a piece of performance art: Ultra-Leftist Shitbag Unravels in Every Way Imaginable

Posted by: Russell Wardlow on February 26, 2005 03:27 PM

Oh, and to Mr. "Good Stuff":

The ridiculousness about Gannongate is that lefties are trying desperately to make it a huge scandal b/c this guy got to ask a question at a press briefing.

Ward Churchill is in the news because he represents a somewhat more extreme example of morally repugnant (as well as sloppy and fraudulant, in many cases) degenerate state into which so much of academia has descended.

But then, I'm not surprised you can't tell the difference.

Moron.

Posted by: Russell Wardlow on February 26, 2005 03:31 PM

I nominate both of them for the Hunter Thompson Solution (TM)

Posted by: recon on February 26, 2005 05:38 PM

L'affair Churchill is much more important than GANNONGATE. Gannon affected how many people on a daily basis? Maybe the half dozen or so on the planet who ever heard of Talon...

The Cur Chilling (to borrow a DeathLands term) in progress will ultimately liberate hundreds/thousands of his unwitting student victims.

Its a target rich environment though - lets just (figuratively, of course, I wouldn't want some moonbat to accuse me of soliciting murder) CHILL this one and move on to the next nest of stickies.

I agree. You get the sense from that video that Prof. Churchill's been under some stress lately. For the sake of the Ethnic Studies Department, I hope he takes it easy for a few days.

Posted by: Josh Martin on February 26, 2005 06:18 PM

Drudge has a link to a Denver Post article saying that U of C is apparently flailing around trying to find a way to get rid of the guy without years of lawsuits.

My own take is to point the law authorities at his forged art sales, point the U of C folks at his bogus publications and false references and false Masters degree, and point the Feds at his "fomenting violent overthrow and terrorism" activities.

But I am indulging myself. :)

U of C's efforts - while not emotionally gratifying (this guy pisses me off) , will solve the problem more or less.

Am I the only one who finds it extremely frightening that an obviously unhinged mofo like this Hinchey guy can get elected to Congress?

Posted by: Sean M. on February 26, 2005 08:29 PM

Ward should sue you for punitive damages that your giving him.

Posted by: Saul Rosenberg on February 26, 2005 08:41 PM

Hey, Cedarford, look! A JOOOOO! Get 'im!

Ward should sue you for punitive damages that your giving him.

What does that mean?

Posted by: rdbrewer on February 26, 2005 09:13 PM

It means I fell down the stairs and my shoes fell off and I feel very hurt about this.

Posted by: Saul Rosenberg on February 26, 2005 09:16 PM

All right then. I'll bring my shoes and my glasses.

Posted by: ace on February 26, 2005 09:17 PM

Hey, sizzle chest - you bring the shoes and the glasses. I'll bring my tools.

I worked on race cars for 18 years. I'm the best. I'll work circles around you ... AND I do bench work. I'm benchin' 350 ...

Posted by: John on February 27, 2005 12:00 AM

UC should fire the loser and fight back with everything they have when he sues them. Sometimes the the good guys win the lawsuit and then they should sue him back for costs as should anyone who bought one of his works of "Art."

Perhaps I'm being naive but, I think this could be one of those times where the planets are lined up correctly and there could be enough public outcry for positive change to happen. ...not only over Why Churchill got there in the first place, but over the the potential "legal terrorism" that has the University afraid to do the obvious right thing.

Posted by: Chuck on February 27, 2005 12:28 AM

John--350 pieces?

Posted by: See-Dubya on February 27, 2005 01:42 AM

350 pieces? What? POUNDS, asshole, POUNDS!

Open up your ears, jackass!

Posted by: ace on February 27, 2005 01:43 AM

PS, if you're lost by these comments, these are Jerky Boyz quotes.

Posted by: ace on February 27, 2005 01:44 AM

Do the Jerky Boyz also put everything in boldface?

Posted by: someone on February 27, 2005 01:45 AM

FYI - Hinchey not only was ELECTED, he's been getting RE-ELECTED for quite a while. He was a rep at least as far back as 1995 when he made the news getting caught trying to smuggle a handgun onto an airliner at the D.C airport. Google "hinchey handgun airport" and you'll turn up some accounts of the incident. This guy is "all moonbat, all the time".

Posted by: TonyI on February 27, 2005 01:51 AM

As for CurChill - now that its been established that he's just a common whore, all that's left is to negotiate the price. :-|

Posted by: TonyI on February 27, 2005 01:53 AM

Okay, I closed that dumb open bold tag.

Sorry. Everything looked fine on my own browser.

What is the UK Regime's plan for protecting the citizens from the savage criminals they've foisted on the populace? They offer NONE. They do, however, have a plan for protecting the savage criminals from the citizens: The citizens must STAY CALM and not get angry and not share videos of citizens being attacked by savage criminals.
The public keeps saying "protect us from the foreign savages you have imported against our wishes and over our objections" and the UK branch of The Regime keeps proposing plans to protect the foreign savages from the public. Soclose to what the public is demanding, just, you know, the complete opposite.
Just a thought: Maybe you wouldn't have to worry about the public attacking the savage criminals if you actually introduced a plan to protect the public from the savage criminals. Maybe they wouldn't feel as if it was necessary for them to protect the public through self-help.

Oof. Reviewers do not like Scary Movie 6. The criticism I keep hearing is that the movie mistakes a reference for an actual joke. The movie (they say) keeps Key Jangling a reference to another movie (or some other pop culture ephemera) and you expect there to be a joke but nope, the Key Jangle was the joke. Other reviewers say that the promise that "no lines will be uncrossed" is a fake-out, and that the movie is bland and inoffensively corporate.
Whoops! I posted about Dan Goldman losing the NY congressional primary. He might do that, but it won't be tonight -- the primary isn't held until June 23.
One race to keep an eye on: the Levi's heir nepo baby and egregious "Designated Liar" Dan Goldman -- one of the Democrats from a safe district Democrats send out to spread their most indefensible lies -- may actually lose his lower Manhattan/Brooklyn set due to, get this, antisemitism in the Democrat primary electorate.
Antisemitism? In the anti-Nazi Democrat Party? Sounds crazy, I know, but apparently the anti-Nazi Party wants to eliminate Jews.
