Who's Looking Through Bedroom Keyholes?

The ultra-sexually-tolerant liberal moonbat contingent (just ask them-- they'll tell you) seems to suddenly be not quite so tolerant after all.

Liberal bloggers are now offering a $10,000 reward for proof that any high government officials slept with... well, look, you know they're talking about.

Who's the only person they've been talking about for three weeks?

I think the liberals need to address Ann Coulter's point: Are we supposed to be tolerant, or judgmentally intolerant, of homosexual relations this week?

I am beginning to get dizzy, and I think I need a scorecard. Gay sex cannot keep switching from the "What's Hot" to the "What's Not" list every time it is in liberals' political interest to so switch it.

I can't even argue this anymore with my liberal friends. Oh how I've tried. As a gay man, I've always said the biggest no-no in the "community" is outing someone. It's just not done, for any reason.

Unless, of course, it's a conservative. But, no, my liberal friends keep repeating "It's not the sexuality! It's the hypocrisy!"

The hypocrisy, huh.

Like, all of them ignoring Eason Jordan, then lecturing me about the serious "journalistic violations" committed by Gannon?

That kind of hypocrisy?

At that point I just throw my hands in the air and tell them "I don't care what he did, the man is hot," and then spend the next ten minutes discussing all the lurid details of the things Gannon must be capable of. Usually shuts em right up.

So where's the outrage from Randy Andy, King of the bandwidth beggars?

Posted by: recon on February 24, 2005 05:24 PM

'Proof"?!? What sort of 'proof' would they be looking for here? Sort of like the stain on Monica's blue dress?

I'm not sure if I'm amused nearly to tears, or just saddened by their continuing futile flailing.

oh! the HYPOCRISY!

Posted by: johnny on February 24, 2005 05:43 PM

For liberals, what's OK is to be leftist, progressive, Democrat etc. What's not OK is to be conservative, pro-life (in any context), Republican.

It's not being gay that's Gannon's problem, it's being conservative. See what the oh so tolerant liberals did to Clarence Thomas because he is also a conservative. And see what they've said about Condi and Colin Powell for the same reason.

The only 'standard' the liberals have is what kids call 'sidezes' - i.e., whose side are you on. If you're on their side, then you can do anything, say anything (see Ward Churchill) and at worst be ignored. If you're not on their side, then any possible chink in your armor (see President Bush's National Gaurd service) makes you fair game.

In a nutshell, liberals are dishonest, hypocrical (and generally rude and unpleasant) people.

Hey Ace, do you have a link to Gannon's blog on here somehwere? I can't find it if you do.

Posted by: bullwinkle on February 24, 2005 06:19 PM

No; like I said, I never heard of the guy until three weeks ago.

I think it's just Jeffgannon.com, but it's now down, with a brief message about his having to leave Talon and TalkRight.

Posted by: ace on February 24, 2005 06:30 PM

THIS JUST IN: Guckert/Gannon's address discovered.

God, I despise lefties. Not hate. You have to care about them to hate. Just despite and scorn. That's all they're worth.

Posted by: Squatch on February 24, 2005 09:14 PM

Talon news is f***ing up big time. They should have never let this guy go. If he quit, they should have sent the boss over to give him a pep talk.
How is it I'm the only one who sees this guy Gannon as the goose who laid (no pun intended) the golden press coverage.
He is a nation wide celebrity now.
Imagine the traffic if Gannon and Talon ever got over themselves long enough to send him back to get a day pass at the White House!

(personal message for Jeff Gannon) Dude you did nothing which prohibits you from continuing with your journalism job. Don't be shy now, get back out there.

I'm still waiting for the NYT headline " Gay Men Lead Non-Traditional Lifestyle" Sub-Head "We're not Beaver Cleavers" Twenty-four point for the Head and twelve point for the sub. What really kills me about this, is that it should not be a story, yet the PRO-GAY LEFT is so one-sidedly up in arms about one man who got into the White House Press Room to express his opinion in a controlled journalistic manner. Back in '86, my government class got into the press room. OK, it was AP, but fourteen geeks and fools got day passes. If we had been "real journalists", we'd have probably been at the bar. That this non-story has legs is a nonepithet-worthy (sorry) backbiting, bitchy, ludicrous, injudicious, Pyrrhian, and all around bad example of mainstream and leftish media hair-splitting in a misguided attempt to discredit what, to me at least (recently), has been unprecedent access to the Bush White House. Kudos to Gannon for showing an interest and taking the next step. If every special interest person applied for a day pass, ..might be they would not bitch so much.

Apologies for the all caps. Fighting off flu with a bottle of Bombay Sapphire and pomegranate juice. Point I was labouring to make was that no one can stand an intense scrutiny. Also, the pro-gay party seems to really hate gays who don't vote for them. And Blacks who don't work in hotel service industries. Funny how the Republicans are now the party of equal opportunity. Seems to make the Dems and Left a bit ....outdated.

What is the UK Regime's plan for protecting the citizens from the savage criminals they've foisted on the populace? They offer NONE. They do, however, have a plan for protecting the savage criminals from the citizens: The citizens must STAY CALM and not get angry and not share videos of citizens being attacked by savage criminals.
The public keeps saying "protect us from the foreign savages you have imported against our wishes and over our objections" and the UK branch of The Regime keeps proposing plans to protect the foreign savages from the public. Soclose to what the public is demanding, just, you know, the complete opposite.
Just a thought: Maybe you wouldn't have to worry about the public attacking the savage criminals if you actually introduced a plan to protect the public from the savage criminals. Maybe they wouldn't feel as if it was necessary for them to protect the public through self-help.

Oof. Reviewers do not like Scary Movie 6. The criticism I keep hearing is that the movie mistakes a reference for an actual joke. The movie (they say) keeps Key Jangling a reference to another movie (or some other pop culture ephemera) and you expect there to be a joke but nope, the Key Jangle was the joke. Other reviewers say that the promise that "no lines will be uncrossed" is a fake-out, and that the movie is bland and inoffensively corporate.
