How Many Provisional Ballots in Ohio, Again? [RETRACTED]

Pixy Misa, who makes this whole joint swing, tips that there are in fact merely 76,000 or so provisional ballots at large in Ohio. [SEE CORRECTION.]

Now, actually, I think the Dems are using the 250,000 uncounted votes term to include both provisional ballots, and maybe absentees, and the hundred thousand Double Secret Probation Votes coming out of Cleveland, any moment now.

But, given that Bush's lead in Ohio is growing, not shrinking, as the last precincts check in, I think we'll soon be able to just talk about the provisionals and the absentees. And the absentees, of course, usually go pretty Republican.

PS: Bush now has a lead of over 160,000 votes in Ohio with 99% of precincts reporting and ABC and CBS still won't project him the winner (I think).

Alarming News notes that the media were perfectly willing to call Michigan for Kerry with a similar margin.

But there's no media bias, you know. It's a figment of your lunatic imagining.

Correction: Tipped by Pixy and "someone" that those numbers listed are as of yet uncomplete, and they're still counting, and adding to the number.

If you want a laugh watch CBS. Dan Rather is arguing that Kerry can still win. Ed Bradley explained the numbers to Rather, twice, and Rather still won't let it go.

What the hell just happened in New Mexico? Bush just lost all of his lead in about 2 seconds? Whats going on?

Posted by: atomic_amish on November 3, 2004 03:56 AM

Sorry, the Corner now says that the list I linked to is incomplete. I'm not sure of the real numbers, but they may well be as originally announced.

Posted by: Pixy Misa on November 3, 2004 03:59 AM

Sorry Ace, but you see those empty spaces on the chart (next to, e.g., "Cuyahoga")? More ballot numbers to show up there.

Rather will not die. I can't believe this bastard is holding on so long. Guess it sucks to try so hard to bring down the Prez and find that America doesn't roll over for you. Just call it Dan, then get on a plane with Redford and the rest of the threatening ex-pats. Don't go to Ireland. My people would eat you.

That number of provisional ballots isn't complete - it's increasing as we speak.

In any case, Bush won. Break out the bubbly.

I'm concerned, saddened, and disappointed to report that Senate Minority Leader Tom Daschle has lost his reelection bid.

Capp, frankly I question the timing.

Bush's margin in OH is greater in absolute numbers and percentage points of all votes cast than Kerry's in PA. Why isn't PA "too close to call", too?

I hear Baghdad Bob's position is still open--maybe he still has that ridiculous "Gunga Dan" halloween costume from his days in the Stans--ya know the one Geraldo modelled later??

Hell, him AND Peter Arnett could go to work for Al jazerra--Zawkari and his BF crew might wait awhile b4 cutting his throat--seeing as they are SOOO media savvy..

Course then, you'd be surprised how much one of them and a cameraman look like an RPG rag and his loader at 150 meters in the heat shimmer of late afternoon...heh....chopper boys got the last one..suppose its even more fleeting at 140 knots and about 300 ft.....heh

Anyone that stayed up all night knows that the Ohio Secretary of State made the following statement on both CNN and Fox:

"In the 2000 Presidentital election, we had about 100,000 provisional ballots. Our numbers indicate that we will probably have 30-40% more this time."

Now, I admit that I have had calculus, but by my math, that's 140,000. Oddly, that's almost the EXACT SAME NUMBER OHIO JUST ANNOUNCED (7:40 CST). On CNN, when he made that statement, Wolf Blitzer said, "You mean there are 200,000 to 250,000 provisional ballots?" The poor Sec of State was tired and he answered, "Yes." As a result, they proceeded to repeat over and over and over and over again that there were still 250,000 votes left. Of course, the Democratic memo from Mary Beth Cahill reinforced that.

Expect there to be a bunch of yammering about the 110,000 "missing" provisional ballots.

Important Message from Recent Convert to Christianity and Yet Super-Serious Christian Tuq'r Qarlson: Actually Muslims love Jesus, it's Trump and his neocons who hate him
Tucker Carlson Network
@TCNetwork

The people in charge [Jews, of course -- ace] don't want you to know this, but Muslims love Jesus.

Islam reveres Him as a major prophet and messenger of the Lord, believes He performed miracles, and states that He will return to Earth to defeat the Antichrist. That's why Donald Trump's painting depicting himself as the Son of God offended the president of Iran. It was an attack on his religion as well as Christianity.

Trump's trolling tweet was ill-advised, but Tucker is just lying when he claims the Christianity-hating President of Iran was "offended" by this.
He's one step away from announcing his official conversion to Islam. He literally never stops praising Islam. Well, he suddenly became Christian two years ago, there's not much stopping him from converting again.
You can track Tuq'r's official conversion to Islam with this Bingo card.

Politico is reporting that multiple people have abruptly resigned from Eric Swalwell's gubernatorial campaign: "Members of senior leadership have departed the campaign, including Courtni Pugh, a strategic adviser who served as Swalwell's top liaison to organized labor groups."

So the campaign is collapsing due to the truth of the sexual harassment allegations.
