Explosives Fraud Blows Up in MSM's Face

DRUDGE BLARE:

FLASH 10.29.04 11:36:56 ET /// Soldier to brief reporters at Pentagon within the hour that he was tasked with removing explosives from al QaQaa and he and his unit removed 200+ tons... Officer was ordered to join the 101st airborne on April 13 -- to destroy conventional explosives at the al QaQaa complex... Developing...

MAJOR: WE REMOVED 200+ TONS OF EXPLOSIVES FROM FACILITY

...

FoxNews' take.

New York Times, how does it feel to be Drudge's bitch?

Let me put it in terms that even your moronic publisher (who couldn't get into a top college, despite tens of millions of dollars and family connections out the wazoo):

You, Coyote. Bush, Roadrunner. Lame October Surprise: one ACME rocket and pair of ACME roller skates, plus a big ACME slingshot and ACME Roadrunner-decoy-robot.

Douchebag says what?

Yeah, that's what I thought.

What do you think the chances are that Long Face just keeps talking about it as though it's a real story? I mean, most of his followers don't watch the news anyway.

I just checked ABC, NBC and CBS. No coverage. Nada

THANK GOD for Fox News.

After listening to the Major's testimony, I can HARDLY WAIT to listen to the 3 o'clock commie radio show.
If they are true to form, they will avoid the issue altogether, though yesterday they were bangin' it like a drum.

Oh, and the huge front page retraction in the NY Times tomorrow will be gratifying, too.

Riiiight....

Drudge's debunkings seem to contradict one another. First the 380 tons were taken to Syria by the Russians, then it was only 3 tons that were missing, now it's 200 tons taken by our guys. How can all three be true?

If I'm hopelessly confused, someone please enlighten me.

.. and ACME Roadrunner-decoy-robot.
Right there. I was cracking up.
"decoy"
Just tore me up.

Schmoll: 53% of New Jersey likely voters say their neighbors are voting for Ciattarelli, while 47% say the cheater/grifter Mikie Sherrill
The "who do you think your neighbors are voting for" question is designed to avoid the Shy Tory problem, wherein conservative people lie to schmollsters because they don't want to go on record with a likely left-winger telling them who they're really voting for. So instead the question is who do you think your neighbors are voting for, so people can talk about who they themselves support without actually having to admit it to a left-wing rando stranger recording their answers on the phone.

Interesting football history: How the forward pass was created in response to the nineteen -- 19! -- people killed playing football in 1905 alone
The original rules of football did not allow forward passes. The ball was primarily advanced by running, with blockers forming lines with interlocked arms and just smashing into the similarly-interlocked defensive lines. It was basically Greek hoplite spear formations but with a semi-spherical ball. As calls to ban the sport entirely grew, some looked for ways to de-emphasize mass charges as the primary means of advancing the ball, and some specifically championed allowing a passer to throw the ball forward.

Atari to release former competitor Intellivision with 45 games for $149
I always thought Intellivision was kinda lame (to the extent a cutting edge videogame box can be lame).
Intellivision insists upon itself.
Pitfall was a really good game. I don't know if it was available on Intellivision. Update: It was. But I don't know if it's included in the new unit.
