And the UN's No Picnic, Either

The Right Wing Conspirator has a useful little quiz testing your knowledge about the world's greatest "peace" organization.

Apart from the US Army, the US Marines, the US Navy, the US Air Force, and the US Coast Guard, of course.

Considering the UN's track record in Rwanda, the Balkans, Iraq, the Sudan, etc., I'd say there are a few other peace organizations greater than the UN. These include the Boy Scouts of America, the Screen Actor's Guild, Hamas, the PTA in Muncie Indiana, the Islamic Republic of Iran, PETA, the UCLA, and so forth. The UN is actually rather low on the list.

Come on! they have to be better than NAMBLA!

OK, I was just kidding.

NAMBLA is clearly a superior peace organization. Never once did they fail to act on intelligence of the imminent racist slaughter of nearly a million Rwandans. And their guiding motto theme seems to be something like, "Come experience the peace that can only be experienced by shanking a 4-year-old up the rear!"

So yes, I put NAMBLA higher up on the list than the UN.

The Trump Curse strikes again. She went from an apolitical ditz to a Hillary Clinton Crusader in 2016 and her career bottomed out like Hillary Clinton's blood sugar level after a weekend of vodka and self-pity. The Trump Curse even follows you into space, yo. Or at least into the lower upper atmosphere.

Kari Lake, just when I think you couldn't get any dumber, you pull a stunt like this, and totally redeem yourself!!!
I think the Democrat is arguing that the political appointees should exercise no control over their rabidly communist VOA employees. This is what they're always arguing -- they stock the bureaucracy with literal communists and then claim that the voters should have no control over these unfirable radicals. Lake offers a for-instance that will appeal to this Democrat of allegedly-suspect bedroom guests.
LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Lalo Schifrin, the composer behind the iconic 'Mission: Impossible' theme and many more film and TV scores, dies at 93.
