I've said this in a couple of places, but I really wonder if those "multiple strikes' were really just one Hellfire, plus a number of secondaries (from things like dud artillery shells that were recovered from the area for use in IEDs).

Upon reading the report and the "eye-witnesses" stating that he heard many other explosions. It's quite possible that with the detonation of just one missile inside the hovel created enough heat to cook off the (no doubt in my mind) other explosives already within. The "women & children" where probably caught in that trying to escape or in their sad attempt to put out the fires.
