Senate Democrat Ben Nelson Backs Alito

Not sure if we can unseat him, but if he votes with us on judges, taxes, and war, do we really care?

Ben Nelson has always been a DINO. Only Democrat I have ever voted for, in fact. When running for his second term for Governor in NE, he was actually more conservative than his Republican opponent. Needless to say, he won in a landside.

Not sure why he calls himself a Democrat, but it seems to work for him in getting himself elected.

I haven't checked, but it sounds as though somebody's up for re-election...

I can't really think of any Republicans who would be a threat to Nelson in the next election, given that Johanns is serving as Secretary of Agriculture and Osborne is running for Governor. I've been out of NE for a while now though, so maybe I'm not aware of some up-and-comer ready to take Nelson down.
