It was an intense game, especially toward the end. I was saying to myself throughout that if it weren't for the Redskins D nothing would have been possible. If they recover from their injuries and do a double press with their offense and defense they may have a shot at beating Seattle (who aren't as good as they look).

I am sorry I am going to have to go for the Seahags on this one ;-)

Wow! Go skins, not the game I wanted, but I will take the score. The Offense did get the FG and the 5 yard TD to make it a 7 point game, which mattered later on in. Without the D's two turnovers, it would have been, true enough, a different game, at 3-10. Maybe then, the O would have tried riskier plays.
The Bucs had a good D. Samuels got knocked around. But they couldn't help their O like the 'Skins' D did.
I think Seattle is going to have a pretty crummy day next week. The Skin's O is gonna be having another 35 point day.

Brunell is too streaky for my tastes. Either he's 'on' and spectacular or he looks like Heath Schuler (remember him?). He overthrows. He underthrows.

I say if Brunell is having another one of those games like he has for the last two, bring in Ramsey.

I'll give the 'Skins credit: They had more points on the board than the Bucs.

But let's face it. The Seahawks are a very different team than the Bucs, and can consistenly put up points. The Skins' offense was pathetic, and a repeat of that performance will not suffice if the Seahawks have an average offensive day.

I like the Skins' defense though, and they should be able to keep it close for 2 to 2.5 quarters, but after that, I see the Seahawks pulling away decisively by the last half of the 4th quarter.

Are the Giants going to lay an egg and ruin my predictions?

Okay, Craig and Larry, you may commence to whipping me with a wet noodle.

I'm pleased, however, with the Carolina and Pittsburgh wins. But for the love of everything holy and sacred, Jake Plummer and the Denver Broncos Must lose.
