I Wish I'd Said That

From Books, Inc.:

I have myself heard in the newsroom comments about blogs that actually did sound, in Michelle Malkin’s phrase, “thoroughly unhinged.” But it really isn’t blogging in general that bothers the MSM. It’s only the political blogs. The MSM doesn’t care about lit blogs or cooking blogs or knitting blogs — or even tech blogs or science blogs (except to the extent they might be useful in advancing some editorial viewpoint).

Blogs have challenged the MSM’s self-designated right to shape political debate by choosing what to cover and how to cover it.

Oh, wait, I did say that:

Reporters believe they have to provide "context," to explain to the audience what information means. They know full well, as they were taught this in J-school, that there are several narratives -- several slants, several "stories" -- that can be written about the same kernel of facts -- but they don't like having the slant they've chosen challenged by anyone else. They have a monopoly on the gathering of information, which is not in jeopardy-- you have to be on a salary to do that sort of work.

But their monopoly on the "contextualization" of information is threatened, and they're pretty annoyed about that.

You may not have verbalized it, and even if you had, you wouldn't have been first. The truth is that the people, the populace, you know, the ignorant masses who fall into the news-speak of manipulative wording and phrasing to force us morons into a particular ideologoy, have realized we were being lied to manipulated and acting as nothing more than unknowing automatons until we were given our freedom by the internet, or other means, meens, meenies, whatever.

It is those people who don't have blogs, or collumns who created the language that gives blogs meaning, and it is also why YOU should be proud of having a blog that many visit several times a day to keep up with how you say what it is that we might think.

OR! how to argue a point we haven't even dotted yet.

BLAH BLAH BLAH first ammendment, YAY, you rock.

right now I'm basicly saying I would slaver your shank with my own saliva, but trust me I won't, at least not in reality, just metaphoricaly.

Really? My complaint about the media is that it never does provide context. Case in point, most Americans believe Enron was just a company that ran into money trouble or something.

Hey sheepshankedshunt,
Is this the way it's going to be with you?
You stick your dumbass opinion in every thread just to see your name on the screen and get that little buzz?
Because if it is, and we're going to start listing all the stories that got fucked-up beyond all recognition due to lefty media slant, well, you're going to have to get me a sandwich, bitch.
Because it's going to take a while.

Important Message from Recent Convert to Christianity and Yet Super-Serious Christian Tuq'r Qarlson: Actually Muslims love Jesus, it's Trump and his neocons who hate him
Tucker Carlson Network
@TCNetwork

The people in charge [Jews, of course -- ace] don't want you to know this, but Muslims love Jesus.

Islam reveres Him as a major prophet and messenger of the Lord, believes He performed miracles, and states that He will return to Earth to defeat the Antichrist. That's why Donald Trump's painting depicting himself as the Son of God offended the president of Iran. It was an attack on his religion as well as Christianity.

Trump's trolling tweet was ill-advised, but Tucker is just lying when he claims the Christianity-hating President of Iran was "offended" by this.
He's one step away from announcing his official conversion to Islam. He literally never stops praising Islam. Well, he suddenly became Christian two years ago, there's not much stopping him from converting again.
You can track Tuq'r's official conversion to Islam with this Bingo card.

So the campaign is collapsing due to the truth of the sexual harassment allegations.
That hissing sound you hear is the air going out of the Swalwell campaign. UPDATE: No it wasn't, it was just Swalwell one-cheek-sneaking out a fart on camera
