Cindy Sheehan's Book-Signin' Bonanza

An appropriately empty venue for an empty headed woman.

Also, Al Jazeera begins a "Don't Bomb Us" blog.

Cheer up Cindy, you'll always have the Code Pink dykes to keep you company.
I look for her to wring this anti-bush thing out, then move on to developing an eating disorder, chemical dependency, or recovered memories of childhood molestation. Multiple appearances on "Tyra!" and "Oprah!" to follow.
Can't wait.

How's about pumping up the Sheehanoia tour with some 70's-style star-power? Ramsey Clark, Daniel Ellsberg, Norman Mailer, and Kurt Vonnegut are still surprisingly undead.

I'll bet they could double the size of that crowd!

Posted by: lyle on November 27, 2005 10:08 PM

In my student days, I was forced to sit through lectures by Daniel Ellsberg three, yes three times. In each lecture he breaks out in tears at the exact same moment. Talk about scripted!

I'll swap you three Daniel Ellsberg lectures for the one Dick Gregory rant I had to sit through.

And for the finale they could show their solidarity with the oppressed little brown people by simultaneously activating their suicide belts! And then the media can blame it all on Bush! Yeah!

zetetic,

We could call it the Grateful They're Dead tour.

Re: Al-Jazeera's close call with the business end of a missile...

Shouldn't they thank Tony?

Posted by: IK on November 28, 2005 03:50 AM

I know Mailer and Vonnegut are moonbats but I loved "the Naked and the Dead" and "Slaughterhouse Five". Heller was probably a moonbat too but Catch 22 was the funniest and most profound book I have ever read .

What has more Hot air?
Cindy Sheehan's head or all of those balloons?

Posted by: Cindy not sheehan on November 28, 2005 07:25 AM

Some moonbats actually have some redeeming qualities, Sheehan is an ugly, repulsive, traitorous bitch with absolutely none. She is Lower than whale shit.

Haven't read those, but from what I recall, "Harrison Bergeron" was a decidedly non-lefty story.

Yeh I guess this is ot, but I doubt i would agree with the politics of any of my favorite rock and roll musicians (Dylan, Springsteen, Van Morrison, the Clash). It's just hard to write a good song protesting against the capital gains tax .

Separated at birth?

Great link, I think the word is schadenfreude. When will she ever just go away.

Posted by: john brown on November 28, 2005 10:04 AM

But did the reporters - the only other people who seem to be there to fawn over Cindy - get their books signed?

Posted by: Mark on November 28, 2005 10:10 AM

I guess that answers the question - if a Bush-hater threw a book signing and no one showed up, would the press still cover it?

Posted by: NCVOL on November 28, 2005 11:33 AM

Hey, why aren't tubino and the other lefty site pests on here defending their gal?

What is the UK Regime's plan for protecting the citizens from the savage criminals they've foisted on the populace? They offer NONE. They do, however, have a plan for protecting the savage criminals from the citizens: The citizens must STAY CALM and not get angry and not share videos of citizens being attacked by savage criminals.
The public keeps saying "protect us from the foreign savages you have imported against our wishes and over our objections" and the UK branch of The Regime keeps proposing plans to protect the foreign savages from the public. Soclose to what the public is demanding, just, you know, the complete opposite.
Just a thought: Maybe you wouldn't have to worry about the public attacking the savage criminals if you actually introduced a plan to protect the public from the savage criminals. Maybe they wouldn't feel as if it was necessary for them to protect the public through self-help.
