The Left's Patriotism Gap

Gap? How about "gulf"? How about "yawning chasm"? How about "fathomless abyss to rival the void in Helen Thomas' head"?

Winds of Change reposts an article from last year:

I Started To Write About Veteran's Day...

...and to thank the veterans alive and dead for protecting me and mine.
And worried that what I wrote kept coming out sounding either too qualified or would be interpreted as being too nationalistic.

And I realized something about my own thinking, a basic principle I'll set out as a guiding point for the Democrats and the Left in general as they try and figure out the next act in this drama we are in.

First, you have to love America.

...

I don't get a clear sense that my fellow liberals feel the same way. And if so, why should ‘the folks’ follow them? Why are we worthy of the support of a nation that we don't support? So let me suggest an axiom for the New Model Democrats:

America is a great goddamn country, and we're going to both defend it from those who attack it and fight to make it better.

And for everyone who is going to comment and remind me that ‘all liberals already do that’…no they don't. Not when the chancellor has to intervene at U.C. Berkeley to get ‘permission’ for American flags to be flown and red-white-and-blue ribbons to be worn. Not when the strongest voices in liberalism give only lip service to responding to an attack on our own soil.

Loving this country isn't the same thing as jingoism; it isn't the same thing as imperialism; it isn't the same thing as blind support of the worst traits of our government or our people.

It starts with recognizing the best traits, and there are a hell of a lot of them. They were worth defending in my father's time, and they are worth defending today.

So thanks, veterans. Thanks soldiers and sailors and marines and airmen. Thanks for doing your jobs and I hope you all come home hale and whole, every one of you.

Half of the problem is that lefties are intellectually insecure and have been taught that patriotism is for stupid people. Determined to prove themselves non-stupid through an easy course (not everyone can split atoms, you know), they buy into the various signifiers of a high intellect promoted by their lefty heroes.

If it became Liberally Correct to wave flags and wear flag pins tomorrow -- if suddenly that denoted education, erudition, and progressive virtue -- you'd have seas of red, white, and blue in San Francisco.

Anti-patriots denigrate patriotism as empty-headed jingoism. But most of their antipatriotism is itself empty-headed, a trivial tribal signifier, a vapid fashion accessory informing the world that they are members of the smart set of Sneeches whose bellies defintely do not have stars upon thars.

The people that shun or abuse our troops do not deserve our country much less all the opportunities it gives them. They are stupidly selfish immaturely whining when they can't get their way and vilely slandering those oppose them. They are not only unpatriotic but are not really citizens as well.

My contribution to the armed forces was to go to a Marine recruiting office yesterday to offer them a birthday greeting on their 230th anniversary and give them a fine bottle of livation. Today in a Walmart I stopped to shake the hand of a vet in a wheel chair while offering him a happy vets day.

Isn't it going to be open season on liberals in about a week?

Rumor has it there's no bag limit this year...

Posted by: Purple Avenger on November 11, 2005 08:19 PM

It's actually pretty simple: Lefties are commies. They are dedicated to the overthrow of the US govt and to the destruction of US society and the free enterprise economc system. Their behavior is consistent with those goals. What is more, they scaled all of their anti-US activities back during the Clinton years. They thought they had achieved a coup. Think about it.

Posted by: robert108 on November 11, 2005 08:47 PM

They don't love this country. They love what they think it should be.

If they even love that at all.

Posted by: Dave in Texas on November 11, 2005 08:53 PM

Yep Liberals are anti-American not because of philosophical ideal or logic , but because they think it's cool . Che was a pathological murderer , but he looks so cool with his beard and beret. How many times have I seen on the back of some hippie's beat up car bumper stickers saying both "Free Tibet" and "No war in Iraq" or Pro abortion bumper stickers along with Animal rights PETA bumper stickers.

Posted by: john brown on November 11, 2005 09:25 PM

Sneeches LOL

I love that story.

Posted by: Zedzded on November 11, 2005 10:39 PM

Purple Avenger,
No jacklighting now. Be sure to wear some orange. And have fun out there.

Posted by: Tom M on November 11, 2005 11:27 PM

I notice that ol Tubi hasn't responded yet to ask if you're questioning his patriotism...

Posted by: MH on November 12, 2005 01:05 AM

Why don't you one of you traitors sign up and go to Iraq to prove how patriotic you are, or are you just the whining faggots you appear to be?

Posted by: Proud Liberal Vet on November 12, 2005 02:02 PM

Ahh, the old 'chickenhawk' argument. Now if you're really talking about the antipatriotic partisans, some of which ARE traitors, you'd be referring to the left-wing moonbats.

Posted by: MH on November 12, 2005 02:39 PM

Why don't you one of you traitors sign up and go to Iraq to prove how patriotic you are, or are you just the whining faggots you appear to be?

Wishing for the establishment of a military junta is really un-American. Why do you hate civilian control of the military? And why do people have to earn the right to express an opinion in support of the war?

Posted by: Jordan on November 12, 2005 03:25 PM

The argument of some is that you may not question their patriotism because they “gave their blood for their country.” Guess what? Benedict Arnold gave his blood, too.

He was a genuine soldier with some outstanding victories to his credit. He was shot in the leg in one battle, and later, after he had recovered, had the same leg crushed when his horse was shot from under him. And then he tried to sell West Point to the British.

You bet I question the patriotism of all those phony “anti-war” fools who actively work to help our enemies succeed! For example, Jimmy Carter and John Kerry of the Navy, Whats-is-name of the Marines, and, of course, William the False of the draft dodgers.

Posted by: JimT on November 12, 2005 04:32 PM

"Why don't you one of you traitors sign up and go to Iraq to prove how patriotic you are, or are you just the whining faggots you appear to be?"

How do you know some of us aren't in Iraq, dumbass! You're an idiot that's why you're such a liberal.

I'm Proud to say got back September 15th from Rt Irish-happy to be home.

Posted by: on November 12, 2005 04:55 PM

I ask again: how come libtards get to throw the word "faggot" around without being called "homophobic?"

And of course I answer myself again: because they're a bunch of hypocritical douchebags.

Posted by: zetetic on November 12, 2005 04:56 PM

Oh- that was me-sorry I forgot my name.

Proudly an 11B. B Co. 1/69th

Posted by: max on November 12, 2005 04:57 PM

Welcome home, Max, and thanks!

Posted by: spongeworthy on November 12, 2005 05:16 PM

From another, Welcome home Max, and thanks.

To the Proud Liberal Vet: There are obviously more of us vets that despise the America-haters than he is aware of, and as far as I can tell, many more of us than of the America-hating vets. Even my youngest, about to be sent to the war, thinks turkeys like Proud Liberal Vet are effete wusses that wonder why the world hates them, and don't have the brains to connect the dots between envy, extremism and the war.

And if you have to look up "effete", don't pull the intellectual superiority crap.

Proud Lib. Vet is probably stuck on stupid, and probably runs with other mental pigmies that have no tolerance for disagreement with their own views. And nice shot, too, about "faggots" - that'll earn you a lot of points from the crowd that gets accused of intolerance all the time, but sees blatant hypocricy from such statements.

Posted by: Carlos on November 12, 2005 05:58 PM

The closest any of you girly men ever got to battle is when you beat up your little sisters. However, I'll fight for your right to call real fighting men traitors, even though you are low life pieces of shit.

Posted by: Proud Liberal Vet on November 12, 2005 06:01 PM

The closest any of you girly men ever got to battle is when you beat up your little sisters.

MICAH? Is that YOU? How have you been, man?

Posted by: VRWC Agent on November 12, 2005 06:08 PM

PLV notwithstanding, Buckley's observation about the first 100 names in the phone book being better rulers than the elites is somewhat improved if we go with a random 100 soldiers. PLV knows he is in the fringe minority at home and much, much more so in the military he implies he served in.

Kudos, Max, for a great job over there. Glad to have you back.

Posted by: VRWC Agent on November 12, 2005 06:18 PM

I call bullshit on PLV. Some weird kind of proud that doesn't put a name to his posts and has to make up email addresses along the lines of gijoe@realamericanhero.com

Posted by: Sortelli on November 12, 2005 06:30 PM

I agree. PLV sounds about as much like a vet as my crochety uncle. Probably a pimply faced teenager playing out his fantasies.

Posted by: Navy vet on November 12, 2005 07:38 PM

I'm guessing PLV is a veteran; probably Air Force!

[ducking and running :)]

Posted by: BrewFan on November 12, 2005 07:48 PM

BTW, welcome home max!

Posted by: BrewFan on November 12, 2005 07:50 PM

probably Air Force!

Jealousy is an ugly thing, BrewFan.

Posted by: VRWC Agent on November 12, 2005 08:09 PM

Yo Max so you're a gun bunny eh ? M 109's ? I'm an old arty dude myself, but I never fired a shot in anger.

PLV doesn't sound like a vet to me, but please don't put down the Air Force, my Dad was an R.O. and a 30 year lifer dog.

Posted by: john brown on November 12, 2005 08:12 PM

Jealousy is an ugly thing, BrewFan

While in the Army, I went to a school at Goodfellow AFB in San Angelo, TX and I've got to admit that the Air Force lived like kings and I *was* jealous :)

Posted by: BrewFan on November 12, 2005 08:15 PM

Just joshin' john. BTW, 11B is an infantryman.

Posted by: BrewFan on November 12, 2005 08:17 PM

Yeh I know what you mean, but I could of joined the Air Force so I got what I had coming. Froze my freaking ass off in Germany . I could not be a pilot because due to my eyesight and i wanted to be in a combat arms position.

Posted by: john brown on November 12, 2005 08:20 PM

yep yer right I was thinking 13B

Posted by: john brown on November 12, 2005 08:21 PM

john, happy belated veterans day! Thanks for having served. Our duty isn't over though. Now we have to make sure that max and his comrades-in-arms get the honor and support they deserve.

Posted by: BrewFan on November 12, 2005 08:27 PM

Thanks. and happy Vets day to all. Yer right . The only way we lose this thing is if the Libs get there way and have us pull out like we did in Vietnam. The thought of that makes my blood boil.

Posted by: john brown on November 12, 2005 08:34 PM

Of course I don't question their patriotism. To do so would be to acknowledge that they had patriotism, which they don't.

Posted by: Mikey on November 12, 2005 08:39 PM

I can't pretend you fags pretending you have ever seen any real military action, or that you give a shit about the country. You traitors tell about as many lies as that draft dodging retard you elected that is destroying my country.

Posted by: Proud Liberal Vet on November 12, 2005 08:42 PM

Never said I saw a lick of combat or that i was a hero, far from it. Yer the only one claiming to be Aidie fucking Murphy.

Posted by: john brown on November 12, 2005 08:48 PM

I can't type very well either. but you get the point.

Posted by: john brown on November 12, 2005 08:49 PM

Tell me, Proud Liberal Asshat, who did you vote for in '92 and '96?

Posted by: zetetic on November 12, 2005 08:55 PM

I vote Democratic every time zetfag. I don't vote for the chickenhawk, blue blood, coporate whores that you worship.

Posted by: Proud Liberal Vet on November 12, 2005 08:59 PM

Gee I thought Chimpy actually served ; flew decrepit F 102 fighters in Texas ANG . But now Bill , "nice blow job" Clinton he was a draft dodger No ?

Posted by: john brown on November 12, 2005 08:59 PM

Corporate whores ? You sound like a commie ? Which side did you serve ?

Posted by: john brown on November 12, 2005 09:02 PM

Well, I'm a vet (USAF ==> the literate service, Brewfan), and the "Proud Liberal Vet" sounds like he was never near any type of military service. Just another mincing, prancing troll looking for attention and besmirching the good name of our Armed Forces.

Posted by: geoff on November 12, 2005 09:07 PM

the Air Force lived like kings and I *was* jealous :)

Every night on a mattress, every meal was hot and we didn't have to spend 6 months at a time locked in a steel can without a woman in sight. The recruiter didn't even have to explain that part and I was still a kid.

Honestly, though, I'd do it differently today and tried to make good after 9/11. About 4 months of letters, forms and telephone calls until my birthday nailed the debate about time in service and tollings. Hell, at this point they would surely have given me a desk job anyway.

You guys under arms were always the shit. Friendly rivalries notwithstanding, we all know it. In my branch, that privilege was mostly reserved to officers -- or people who wore funny berets. (Note: Do not fuck with the funny berets. The hats exist as a perpetual provocation to keep our Jedi limber.)

Sounds vaguely like we might both have been in Europe during the Cold War, BrewFan. Either way, thanks for for what you did.

Posted by: VRWC Agent on November 12, 2005 09:09 PM

Yo Geoff is you implying that non AF types is illiterate or somethin.

Posted by: john brown on November 12, 2005 09:11 PM

"Gee I thought Chimpy actually served ; flew decrepit F 102 fighters in Texas ANG . "

Yea that retard protected Texas from a surprise attack from the North Vietnamese, in between trips to the whore houses in Mexico. He was AWOL just like the rest of you maggots.

Anyway I'm out of here. I can't stand the stinch of big talking cowards.

Posted by: Proud Liberal Vet on November 12, 2005 09:13 PM

OK, Proud Liberal Cocksucker, so it didn't bother you that Clinton dodghed the draft?

Posted by: zetetic on November 12, 2005 09:15 PM

There is no way PLV is a vet unless controlled substances are involved with his postings.

Put up or shut up, Micah.

Posted by: VRWC Agent on November 12, 2005 09:17 PM

No matter what you did in the military, there is someone who is more hard corp or who has sacrificed more or has more medals or whatever. I know a lot of people who did see combat and a highly decorated ( a few are in my family). Of all the combat vets that I nkow, they never talk about their experiences and they do not have the false bravado of an ass hat like PLO or PLV . This chickenhawk argument is ridiculous. Lincoln was our greatest president, did he ever see combat, what about Jefferson ?

Posted by: john brown on November 12, 2005 09:17 PM

Okay, seriously, who's posting as PLV? The parody is too perfect.

Posted by: Sortelli on November 12, 2005 09:18 PM

Also in defense of chimpy, although he never saw combat, it is my understanding that he did volunteer for a tour in Vitnam while in the ANG. And flying jet fighters (especially the crap they used to fly in the ANG) is inherently dangerous albeit more glamorous and cushy than being a ground pounder.

Posted by: john brown on November 12, 2005 09:23 PM

I just love that the left-wing is made up of so many asshats that apparently watched Starship Troopers and thought to themselves "Now, that's a great way to run the government."

Posted by: Sortelli on November 12, 2005 09:27 PM

Damn where did PLO go. I wanted to hear his war stories. I wonder what it was like serving under General Giap.

Posted by: john brown on November 12, 2005 09:30 PM

It's amazing to me what huge cred military service has among the liberals. [Only, of course, if that military service is coupled with a liberal point of view.] So we get them pretending to be ex-military, as if that provides them an unanswerable vantage point.

They do seem to evaporate, though, when confronted by the plethora of conservatives who have actually served.

Posted by: geoff on November 12, 2005 09:39 PM

I haven't seen too many libs in the military especially among officers. Does Wesley Clark make anyone else want to puke ?

Posted by: john brown on November 12, 2005 09:44 PM

Whoa, hang on a sec here, folks. Surely you're not suggesting that Proud Liberal Felcher was... lying? That's so unlike a Donk.

Posted by: zetetic on November 12, 2005 09:46 PM

I would like to hear PLV's opinion on how the Democrats routinely try to block the military vote. It must really piss him off that his brothers in arms have to be disenfranchised to keep them from voting Republican.

That is, of course, assuming PLV actually KNOWS anyone in the military.

Posted by: Sortelli on November 12, 2005 09:47 PM

I haven't seen too many libs in the military especially among officers.

A quick poll in my immediate family (6 current or former officers, 1 former enlisted) shows no liberals. "This house is clear."

Posted by: geoff on November 12, 2005 09:49 PM

Sounds vaguely like we might both have been in Europe during the Cold War, BrewFan. Either way, thanks for for what you did.

Nope. The closest I got to Europe or anywhere overseas was Ft. Meade. I'm not complaining though; Uncle Sam sent me to language school to learn N. Vietnamese and was there when the Paris Peace Accords were signed. Now you know why I believe in God :)

Posted by: BrewFan on November 12, 2005 10:06 PM

Maybe you guys should get out more. I know a number of liberal vets where I work. Hey, here's an easy way to find some: look at the vets smeared by the republican party. Max Cleland comes to mind.

Here's one with a blog.

If you look at the republican voting record on funding for vet benefits, it's not hard to imagine there being more lib vets in the future. I posted some relevant facts on figures on the Vet Day thread.

Oh, and Happy Veterans Day to all, and especially to those who served this country.

Posted by: tubino on November 12, 2005 10:13 PM

Did not join for the benefits (though it did help me pay for college). Remember JFK (stole it from a Roman senator)saying something like "ask not what your country can do for you..."

Posted by: john brown on November 12, 2005 10:21 PM

You are soo concerned about the vets . What do you have to say about those bastards from Code Pink harassing wounded soldiers outside of Walter Reed hospital. Now that is lower than whale shit.

Posted by: john brown on November 12, 2005 10:26 PM

Why don't go do something about fag Brown, or do you need to find someone else to do your fighting for you punk?

Posted by: Proud Liberal Vet on November 12, 2005 10:38 PM

I know a number of liberal vets where I work.

Ask them how they feel about the Democrats' schemes to disenfranchise the military vote and to consider why such a thing would be politically expedient for them.

Posted by: Sortelli on November 12, 2005 10:41 PM

PLV, I hear that you can get some education assistance and stuff if you were in the military.

That is, you know, if you actually were.

Posted by: Sortelli on November 12, 2005 10:43 PM

Huh ? put down the crack pipe.

Posted by: john brown on November 12, 2005 10:43 PM

Proud Liberal Skidmark seems awfully fond of calling other people fags. And you know what they say about folks like that... Don't ask, don't tell!

Posted by: zetetic on November 12, 2005 10:46 PM

Cocksucker Brown thinks he can call Americans, other than his fellow whackjobs, traitors, and he is worried about being called a fag.

Posted by: Proud Liberal Vet on November 12, 2005 10:50 PM

If PLO is implying that I'm homosexual. Sorry , I'm not of that persuasion, not that there's anything wrong with that.

Remember the movie Stripes when the recruiter asked the Bill Murray character if he was gay.

"You mean flaming ?"

Posted by: john brown on November 12, 2005 10:50 PM

Just go ahead and come out of the closet, Proud Liberal Anal Wart. It's OK, really. You'll feel much better about yourself.

Posted by: zetetic on November 12, 2005 10:52 PM

Don't ask , don't tell.

Posted by: john brown on November 12, 2005 10:54 PM

Yes, PLV, stop living the lie. Besides, it's much more socially acceptable to be gay, as opposed to being a phony vet.

Posted by: Sortelli on November 12, 2005 10:54 PM

"Just go ahead and come out of the closet, Proud Liberal Anal Wart. It's OK, really. "

You are speaking from experience are you, pretty boy?

Posted by: Proud Liberal Vet on November 12, 2005 10:55 PM

Yeh, it's really hip now adays to be gay and your Hero Che Guevera was a tail gunner too.

Posted by: john brown on November 12, 2005 10:56 PM

Starve that damned thing. It's not really a veteran. It's barely got DNA. But thank the rest of you guys for serving our country. If you only understood how much of a turn-on a uniform is. What am I saying, that's probably why some of you boys joined up. ;)

Posted by: Sue Dohnim on November 12, 2005 10:57 PM

I've seen a few hot babes in uniform too, though I gotta say that Pfc England chick made my wieney shrivel up like a Vienna sausage.

Sorry if i'm being crude here don't want to be too offensive.

Posted by: john brown on November 12, 2005 11:02 PM

Oh, no! Not the dreaded "I'm rubber, you're glue" gambit! Good lord! *choke*

Posted by: zetetic on November 12, 2005 11:02 PM

Zetetic, he learned that deadly counter-attack in the harsh desert battles of the Korean War. Don't you DARE question him!

Posted by: Sortelli on November 12, 2005 11:11 PM

What punditry, what lucid prose, just call me Christopher fucking Hitchens.

Posted by: john brown on November 12, 2005 11:13 PM

Brown and Sortelli must be bum buddies.

Posted by: Proud Liberal Vet on November 12, 2005 11:14 PM

While we're talking about gayness...

Was I the only one on the site who did not know Megan is a lesbiana?

(How did I not see it?)
Now that I think back, she did make some peculiar comments in the recent past regarding girls. Hmm, I must be slipping. Then again, it took me a long time to realize bbeck is a chick.

Posted by: Bart on November 12, 2005 11:16 PM

Good point PLO, you are quite the logician. That is one mean argument. You got me I am a lumber jack and I'm ok .

Posted by: john brown on November 12, 2005 11:19 PM

Was I the only one on the site who did not know Megan is a lesbian?

You must have missed the Friday where she started demanding that lauraw and bbeck IM her and serve her needs. It was riveting.

Posted by: geoff on November 12, 2005 11:23 PM

Sorry , but who is Megan ? Is that someone on TV ?

Posted by: john brown on November 12, 2005 11:26 PM

Megan's one of the local commenters.

Oh, I totally figured PLV out, by the way. He's not a vetERAN. He's a vetERNARIAN. Silly me, all this time I thought he was a lying sack of cock-obsessed shit.

Posted by: Sortelli on November 12, 2005 11:30 PM

No I think he is a veteran. PLO is none other than Wesley Clark. He does make me puke.

Posted by: john brown on November 12, 2005 11:34 PM

Well.... He's got those crazy eyes like Wesley, all right.

But Clark had at least enough brains and charm to impress a few people. Plus he actually, you know, served.

Posted by: Sortelli on November 12, 2005 11:37 PM

I just think Clark is an opportunitic weasal. I can't believe someone did not frag his ass. He still makes me puke, sorry,

Posted by: john brown on November 12, 2005 11:40 PM

It looks like I have upset the two girly men so I had better let them recover, in private. By the way I'll let all my fellow Liberal vets know that the draft dodgers over at asscrack's website think they are all traitors. Maybe they will drop by to thank you punks for all your love for the military.

Posted by: Proud Liberal Vet on November 12, 2005 11:40 PM

Any of you queers know how to remove a medium sized cylinder shaped object from a rectum?

Posted by: Proud Liberal Liar on November 12, 2005 11:47 PM

Oh yes PLO, I am a mass of seething hatred, for you have exposed me as a homosexual. I always wondered why I like show tunes . Yes please tell all yer liberal vet friends I am sure there are thousands. Thank you for shopping K-mart.

Posted by: john brown on November 12, 2005 11:48 PM

Brown and Sortelli looove each other. *Smooch* *Smooch* (And they're both men!)

Burn!!!

Posted by: Larry on November 12, 2005 11:49 PM

Oh yeh that Sortelli is one hot dude, he is my Italian Stallian love slave.

Posted by: john brown on November 12, 2005 11:57 PM

What a strange phenomenon. Liberals trolling a conservative site and throwing anti-homosexual insults at the commenters.

That's like a conservative going to a liberal site and prefacing all his comments with You jesus-loving freaks... or You abortion clinic bombing terrorists....

Posted by: Bart on November 13, 2005 12:06 AM

I thought you loved me for my mind!

Posted by: Sortelli on November 13, 2005 12:06 AM

That actually sounds like fun, Bart.

Posted by: Sortelli on November 13, 2005 12:08 AM

No it's really for your money. Wanna we get gay married next week ?

Posted by: john brown on November 13, 2005 12:09 AM

So, does Megan have a girlfriend?

Posted by: Bart on November 13, 2005 12:11 AM

Come back next week for another hour of Glute Talk.

Posted by: geoff on November 13, 2005 12:11 AM

It'll never work, man, you think Wesley Clark is a puke-inducing opportunistic weasel, I think he's a crazy-eyed untrustworthy fool.

Q: What do you call a person who hates Bush and hates homosexuals?

Posted by: Bart on November 13, 2005 12:14 AM

We'll always have Paris , or was it Cleveland ?

Posted by: john brown on November 13, 2005 12:16 AM

So, does Megan have a girlfriend?

I dunno. I guess you could ask her, although she has a delightfully venomous tongue. When she's not here she's usually posting over at The Pit as Cancer Marney.

Q: What do you call a person who hates Bush and hates homosexuals?

Bart: The kind of guy who'd keep pointing out that Cheney has a lesbian daughter. Seem to remember him being important to the Democrats awhile ago, can't remember his name.

That's a glorious set up for a Cleveland Steamer joke, but I don't have the guts to touch it!

Posted by: Sortelli on November 13, 2005 12:23 AM

I think you just did. EHHHHH Beavis, you just said "touch it"

Posted by: john brown on November 13, 2005 12:26 AM

I wish Cheney's daughter would bitch slap Kerry.

Sortelini: The kind of guy who'd keep pointing out that Cheney has a lesbian daughter.

Nooo, sorry. The correct answer is Pat Buchanan. We would have also accepted A member of the Reform Party or Islamofascists.

Well I thought both Edwards and kerry brought up Cheney's daughter too, maybe it was an halucination. But Cheney's daughter can kick Buchanon's isolationist nutts

Posted by: john brown on November 13, 2005 12:39 AM

... Sean Connery was right about you, Trebek!!! *shakes his fist*

Posted by: Sortelli on November 13, 2005 12:40 AM

At The Pit, ay?
It looks like an odd forum. What's it theme, it's reason for existence?

...It's not like I'm stalking Megan, or anything like that...

Posted by: Bart on November 13, 2005 12:40 AM

They both did, John, but Bart's right. For full on homophobia you've got to go to the Buchananite kooks and those fans of Sharia Law.

Posted by: Sortelli on November 13, 2005 12:43 AM

Does Megan know Cheney's daughter ? Do they hang out at the Lesbiana club ?

Posted by: john brown on November 13, 2005 12:43 AM

Yep Buchanon I think is just a weee bit anti-semetic. , he reminds me of the America firsters pre ww2. Not my favorite conservative.

Posted by: john brown on November 13, 2005 12:47 AM

Dammit! Megan has a lot of questions to answer. We want to know more about this enigma known as The Megan

Posted by: Bart on November 13, 2005 12:47 AM

Yeh i'm gonna be having some wierd girl on girl dreams tonight and its yer fault.

Posted by: john brown on November 13, 2005 12:49 AM

FBI investigating reports of an effort to bomb SpaceX's Boca Chica Starship facility In an interview Friday, he said he was there on the afternoon of Christmas Eve when an SUV pulled up with five male passengers who rolled down their windows to converse. They said they were from the Middle East. “I said something like, ‘What are y’all here for? ’ and the driver said, ‘Oh, we’re here to blow (Starship) up,’ ” Wehrle said. “I just went stone cold, and he said, ‘Oh, I got you. I was joking.’ ” As the conversation went on, though, Wehrle’s visitors said at least three times they were in South Texas to attack Starship. He reported the incident to SpaceX and the sheriff’s office and said he was contacted later by an investigator.
