This is un-fucking-acceptable. This is not a case of removing provocative charges that lack evidence, this is tampering with a witnesses statement to expunge names that would be embarrassing to the Syrian government (unless the witness didn't actually give the names, which would call for a level of incompetence that is usually fatal).

The US should immediately stop payment of all dues until Kofi Annan and his aides resign. We've got better things to do with our money than spend them on corruption. Like rebuilding Syria and Iran.

Better yet, we should surround the UN building with a suitable force (I think a couple dozen girl scouts could handle it), cut off electricity, water, and sewage services, and inform all the non-US citizens present they are persona non grata and have 36 hours to leave the country before being deported.

The UN as it stands now needs to be shit-canned. It's doing more harm than good.
