The west's apparent inability to be clear upon what constitutes treason reflects the larger issue of the lack of a universal standard of right and wrong: how can we agree upon a course of action when we are arguing amongst ourselves about what right and wrong mean? This insanity (brought to you of course by, yes, you guessed it: Liberals) has led to a general paralysis of the west when it comes to dealing with Islam, which tolerates no such foolishness. And again, as Ann Coulter has said:

It's awfully hard to argue with Pipes. The outcry, should anyone ever actually get charged with treason, would be insane. Regardless of how much the Defendant deserved it.
