Dork, Spazz, or Gaywad?

I'm usually not big on internet quizzes, and, well, I'm not really big on this one either, but at least it's... okay.

It'll tell ya which sort of high school dork you were, as if that memory were not already seared painfully into your subconscious.

I came up Punk/Rebel, which is semi-true as far as it goes, but not really accurate, either. When you don't fit into one of the classic Breakfast Club archetypes, I guess the quiz just decides you're a "Punk/Rebel."

PREP/JOCK/CHEERLEADER. That's me. Yeah, and I answered every question honestly. You losers are just gonna have to live with it.

C'mon, step up. I wanna meet up with some little GEEK/DORK I can terrorize.

Nickie, ummm...

I think the quiz meant "Cheerleader" for you.

I don't think any geeks or nerds are trembling at being swatted with your pom-poms.

Posted by: ace on July 29, 2005 12:55 PM

"You scored as Prep/Jock/Cheerleader."

Seriously, wtf? I was more of a "industrial/techno music fan who was liked by most but who didn't play sports or go out for Academic Decathalon or get laid very much but was the go-to guy for questons about Starblazers and Front 242." This test is stupid.

Loner / stoner. Go figure. Think I'll go start a fire or something.

Posted by: Blacksheep on July 29, 2005 12:59 PM

Goth??? WT-F-F?!?

I have, like, zero goth tendencies. Hell, there weren't even any goths at my high school!

Hmmm. Perhaps I've missed my true calling, however. I wonder how I'll look in mascara. And I could always take up cutting-- I hear that's very popular these days.

Cheers,
Dave at Garfield Ridge

P.S. Ace, you were the Ally Sheedy character, admit it. I've seen you dandruff-speckled sketches (they're quite good, actually).

PREP/JOCK/CHEERLEADER for me. I probably dated Nikki in high school.

I was the Molly Ringwald character in HS - but now a cross between Judd Nelson, Ally Sheedy and Molly Ringwald.

Geez - high school really sucked, didn't it?

Posted by: tinkerbelle on July 29, 2005 01:28 PM

Loner. Pretty much.

Posted by: Moonbat_One on July 29, 2005 01:32 PM

When I really feel like crushing my spirit into a little greasy spot on the tarmac, I reflect on my high school years.

Good times man, good time.

Posted by: Dave in Texas on July 29, 2005 01:58 PM

Goth???

Like Dave, goths didn't even exist when I was in school.

Besides, in my high school, we were all geeks, drama nerds and loners.

(Front 242 rocked.)

Posted by: Phinn on July 29, 2005 04:25 PM

Um...I think this test only works if you went to high school since about 1985. There was no Goth in the 70's. The anti-social ones were hippies or "stoners".

And out of a school of 2000+ kids we had exactly one openly gay student. He was affectionately known as that fag and was in fear of his life constantly.
And all this was in the progressive Bay Area!

I was Goth/Punk/Rebel, too. I guess it would be a bit much to ask for it to pin me down, having been—nominally at least—the senior scholar in a First Division UK Public School. A better description would be 'not-super-popular, not-super-unpopular, scholarship boy with all the facial eruptions and sexual longings of his contemporaries'.

Awww poor Ace. B-O-O H-O-O! Just bury your head in the sand, and wait for your effing prom!

Goth/Drama Nerd.

It's a fair cop.
