The Spy Who Came In From The Will-Call WindowObjective SuperSpyMom Valerie Plame Bought Two Tickets To Anti-Bush Springsteen Fundraising Concert The $372 donation to the anti-Bush group America Coming Together, first reported by Time magazine's Web site, was made in Plame's married name of Valerie E. Wilson and covered two tickets. What a pair. posted by Ace at 08:15 PM
CommentsBut so what.... Rove is still EEEEVVILLLLL!!! Posted by: Sterm26 on July 27, 2005 10:47 PM
Pathetic. Is that the best you can do? Correct me if I'm wrong (not that it would matter much either way), but wouldn't that whopping $372 donation have happened after her career had already been ruined by the treasonous acts of the Bush administration? Smear, smear, smear. It's disgusting really. Why do you hate America so much? Posted by: izzadem on July 28, 2005 12:06 PM
oh, and btw, apparently the donation covered 2 tickets to see the show. SCANDALOUS, Valerie Plame wanted to go to a Bruce Springsteen concert!!!! She couldn't have possibly been under-cover!!!! Posted by: izzadem on July 28, 2005 12:10 PM
I hate to say it, but izzadem's right. Gonna need better oppo research than this. Posted by: Knemon on July 28, 2005 12:53 PM
"but wouldn't that whopping $372 donation have happened after her career had already been ruined by the treasonous acts of the Bush administration?" Why of course! She was a covert Republican, loyal to the cause, not placing politics above her duty as an intelligence officer sworn to protect the U.S.A. Then the treasonous acts of the McChimpyBushitlerburton Junta caused her to sabotage a CIA mission by putting a partisan political hack (who she happended to be married to) in charge of gathering crucial information. All this then drove her to become a Democrat and make campaign contributions with falsified information! Yeah, that's the ticket! Posted by: BrewFan on July 28, 2005 01:13 PM

Elric the Blade says he's no longer sure that Trump will have the right to appeal in the NY fraud case:
Yesterday, I thought that Trump had an appeal as of right on the fraud liability, based upon news reports that cited the second opinion as declining to find in favor of liability. That would give Trump at least 2 dissenting judges for an appeal as of right. But now, after seeing the actual decisions, I'm not so sure. Sorry, guys. I've never seen or heard of what the second opinion did. They dissented, but ... decided not to dissent? I'm not sure what the effect is in terms of whether Trump has a right to appeal. I doubt anyone does. I think even if Trump doesn't have a right of appeal, the Court of Appeals (NY's highest court) will take the case. But ... it's a liberal court so who knows how they'll rule. I don't think they'll take the appeal. Judges are lazy and cowardly and will duck any hot potato case they can. These judges are also liberal hacks, and do not want to deliver Trump a full victory.

Lost Seventies Mystery Click: The Darkest Song Ever Recorded?
I think Professor of Rock (on YouTube) claimed this song was so upsetting that people used to pull over to the side of the road when it came on the radio. It's about a fatal plane crash, but obviously it suggests a fatal car crash too, which could wig out a driver. It's like one of those nasty 70s anti-war body horror movies. Not for the squeamish. I'm not even going to post the lyrics because they're upsetting too.
