BREAKING NEWS: Yoko Ono Really, Really, Really Sucks

Almost Incomprehensibly, A Yoko Ono Effort At Making Music Fails Disastrously; Experts Stunned

She's doing a musical, allegedly about John Lennon, that almost entirely omits any mention of the Beatles and in fact contains almost none of even John Lennon's own solo-career songs, in order to trick the public into seeing a musical which is actually about her own damn-important self.

One of the only songs in the piece is The Ballad of John and Yoko.
Because, you know, it mentions her.

At what point will Yoko realize that, like, no one likes her? Or that she's untalented? Or that she just plain sucks?

Thanks to Allah for reminding me that I hate Yoko Ono.

The Ballad of John and Yoko

What a stupid fucking whore
She makes Wonkette look like a saint
like Heather Graham, or someone like that.

Someone's got to be responsible for reminding Allah to remind Ace that he hates Yoko Ono. We can't let the "hating Yoko" thing fall through the cracks.

Once per quarter should suffice. Anyone can remember to hate Yoko for at least 3 straight months.

My dad calls her "Yoko Ugly."

Well, Yoko would have included "Honey Pie" from the white album since the whole song is her screeching with the Beatles trying to harmonize with her, but she just didn't have any prepubescent boys to offer Jacko in exchange for the rights since her own son is full grown.

yoko ono the musician
wasn't her last appearance
on south park as wing?

Posted by: trey on July 21, 2005 05:07 PM

One of my favorite lines in that piece was the author saying that this show was like a "McCartney biography that only featured his time in Wings".

Ace, I think that is the broadway show you were meant to write. You can show up Yoko by getting better gate receipts, and it would fulfill your lifelong ambition to get Nathan Lane on the casting couch.

Phinn, I put a bunch of reminders in my Outlook calendar

In college, when we had a party and wanted people to leave, we would put on a Yoko Ono album we found for 2 bucks. Within minutes the entire place would clear out. So, don't knock Yoko. She 's very good at what she does.

Well golly gee whiz, how long is it going to take Julia Roberts or Britney Spears or Madonna or Natalie Portman any other untalented, overblown gash adored by the azz-slurping media to catch a freakin' clue?

Later,
bbeck

It's good to see the kids keeping up fine American traditions like hating Yoko Ono. Don't let the side down!

I'm thinking that dope smoking fool deserved a bullet to the head just for marrying this stupid bitch.

Unless, of course, that would get me banned; in which case I'm not thinking that at all.

I went to the "John Lennon" exhibit at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland a couple of years ago, and found something quite similar. I'd say about 75% of the exhibit was devoted to post-Beatles Lennon, and more than half of that was Yoko-related.

I'm sure she wants to pretend that she's the best thing that ever happened to him, and the the Beatles-phase was just a minor prelude to his floourishing as an artist. Meanwhile, those of us who aren't smoking crack tend to have a different opinion....

Heh.
She really does suck, doesn't she?

There was fear aplenty. But the truth is, a lot of the panic Americans saw on television was performative. The throngs of people along Convention Center Boulevard sat patiently in the broiling weather, five or six deep in folding chairs on the sidewalk, waiting for something, someone, to arrive. Then, a television crew or photographer would show up, and people would pour into the street, falling on their knees, screaming and gesticulating to the camera. It was an awful situation, obviously, but when the camera wasn't on them, it was remarkable how patient and orderly everyone was.
