George Galloway: Arrest the Real Terrorists

“The most violent people on earth are not the demonstrators, not even the anarchists. The most violent criminals in the world today are in the Gleneagles hotel and they’re called the G8,” he said. “They’re responsible for the deaths of millions of people around the world by the system of globalized capitalism, by their war, by their exploitation.”

I'm so glad that Gorgeous George garnered enough from Saddam's bribes to be able to avoid public transportation.

Much, much more from California Conservative, who notes Daily Kos' prayer that this savage attack does not make the Brits "scared and hostile."

Hostile?

Why on earth would someone possibly become hostile after a sneak attack on innocent civilians commuting to work?

That's just crazy-talk, that's all that is.

I call on all reasonable people to politely bare your throats for the murderer's knife.

Anything less would be uncivilized and lead to more violence.

Ah, it's "globalized capitalism" to blame.

See, it's those infernal call centers in India. And shoe factories in Taiwan. It's French wineries and Japanese stereo systems and Ukranian wheat. Don't even get me started on the various sheep-products out of places like Scotland!

All these people, all over the world, trading with each other, peacefully, on mutually agreeable terms for valuable goods and services ... STOP THE MADNESS!!!

Neville Chamberlain was SO ahead of his time!

I wonder if the voters who returned Galloway to office are having second thoughts yet?

Posted by: Slublog on July 7, 2005 02:27 PM

Ace,

Yes, this is a time for "tolerance and understanding."

...

Got that?

Tolerance.

Understanding.

...

In the world, and within the world view of identity politics, which is led at the top by those who believe themselves to be "aggrieved", the solution to all serious conflict rests solely on those against whom the aggrieved strike out against, including, but not limited to existential threats.

In other words, when pscyhotic, genocidal, religious fanatics are poised to saw your head off, or blow you to bits, or at least maim you for life, be sure first and foremost to be tolerant and then understanding, because you know, that guy hurts too.

This is their call to arms.

(Recall, arms for hugging.)

This is how to solve the world's problems, validate and reinforce narcissistic rage.

...

This is the path to civilization's destruction.

If the West is evil because of capitalism, slavery, colonialism, etc... and deserves to be murdered by the terrorists, why are these Leftist Chickenheads not cutting off their own heads or blowing themselves up? Why are they making innocents suffer?

"I wonder if the voters who returned Galloway to office are having second thoughts yet?"

Why would they? It was the muslim voting block in a heavily muslim borough that elected him. He's also married to a Palestinian.

He is doing what he was elected to.

Posted by: Ring on July 7, 2005 02:48 PM

Remember how upset liberals were when Rove talked about their response to 9/11?

Sounds like they're saying the same things all over again.

Why do they hate us? Can't they see we're wringing our hands as fast as we can?

Posted by: JGarafalo on July 7, 2005 04:33 PM

Why would they? It was the muslim voting block in a heavily muslim borough that elected him. He's also married to a Palestinian.

He is doing what he was elected to.

So he's an honest politician.

When he's bought, he stays bought.

The Beginnings

It was not part of their blood,
It came to them very late
With long arrears to make good,
When the English began to hate.

They were not easily moved,
They were icy-willing to wait
Till every count should be proved,
Ere the English began to hate.

Their voices were even and low,
Their eyes were level and straight
There was neither sign nor show,
When the English began to hate.

It was not preached to the crowd,
It was not taught by the State.
No man spoke it aloud,
When the English began to hate.

It was not suddenly bred,
It will not swiftly abate,
Through the chill years ahead,
When Time shall count from the date
That the English began to hate.

1914, Rudyard Kipling

If the "West is evil because of capitalism, slavery, colonialism, etc..."the rest of the world is far more evil because their crimes dwarf those of the west by comparison.

Thousands of years of genocide, democide, war, torture, mass murder, rape, pillage, destruction and theft by various tribes all over the world illustrate that there is nothing new or peculiar about oppression. The only thing that is new is the west's technological ability to make war and anhilate whole cities. But in a poor, backward country like Rwanda, one tribe managed to kill over 800,000 people in a few months mostly with machetes! According to RJ Runnel the world has seen great megamurders long before the west. He estimates that governments killed 133,147,000 before the 20th century! Below is a table from his book Death by Government:

128,168,000 Victims: The Dekamegamurderers
61,911,000 Murdered: The Soviet Gulag State
35,236,000 Murdered: The Communist Chinese Anthill
20,946,000 Murdered: The Nazi Genocide State
10,214,000 Murdered: The Depraved Nationalist Regime

19,178,000 Victims: The Lesser Megamurderers
5,964,000 Murdered: Japan's Savage Military
2,035,000 Murdered: The Hell State: Cambodia's Khmer Rouge
1,883,000 Murdered: Turkey's Genocidal Purges
1,670,000 Murdered: The Vietnamese War State
1,585,000 Murdered: Poland's Ethnic Cleansing
1,503,000 Murdered: The Pakistani Cutthroat State
1,072,000 Murdered: Tito's Slaughterhouse

4,145,000 Victims: The Suspected Megamurderers
1,663,000 Murdered? Orwellian North Korea
1,417,000 Murdered? Barbarous Mexico
1,066,000 Murdered? Feudal Russia

Backed up by numbers and analysis, Runnel shows that there is a direct correlation between the amount of tyranny of a government and the amount of murder of its own, and other countries' people. He shows that tyrannical governments attack their neighbors far more than free people.

Whatever the west may be guilty of, the rest of the world is far more guilty of and has no moral right to try to paint the west as evil given that the rest of the world has a vastly more bloody, racist, genocidal, tribalist, belligerent and murderous history.

It is a pity that the Lunatic Left ignores the truth these historical comparisions show, but the truth is, they really don't give a shit. Therefore it is up to us to keep them out of power, for if they ever really do take power the world will descend into a Dark Age that will make the former one seem bright.

ANOTHER LEFT WING ASSASSIN ATTEMPTS TO KILL TRUMP
If I understand this, the left-wing Democrat assassin attempted to get into the White House Correspondents Association dinner, and was stopped at the magnetometers, which detected his gun. I guess he pulled out the gun and was shot by Secret Service agents.

Important Message from Recent Convert to Christianity and Yet Super-Serious Christian Tuq'r Qarlson: Actually Muslims love Jesus, it's Trump and his neocons who hate him
Tucker Carlson Network
@TCNetwork

The people in charge [Jews, of course -- ace] don't want you to know this, but Muslims love Jesus.

Islam reveres Him as a major prophet and messenger of the Lord, believes He performed miracles, and states that He will return to Earth to defeat the Antichrist. That's why Donald Trump's painting depicting himself as the Son of God offended the president of Iran. It was an attack on his religion as well as Christianity.

Trump's trolling tweet was ill-advised, but Tucker is just lying when he claims the Christianity-hating President of Iran was "offended" by this.
He's one step away from announcing his official conversion to Islam. He literally never stops praising Islam. Well, he suddenly became Christian two years ago, there's not much stopping him from converting again.
You can track Tuq'r's official conversion to Islam with this Bingo card.

So the campaign is collapsing due to the truth of the sexual harassment allegations.

This is super-obscure and I only barely remember it. Given that, I'll give you the hint that it's by the Red Rocker.

Oh, but then, you never were afraid

Oh, but it's alright with me now

Now twenty people will tell me it's not obscure, it was huge in their hometown and played at their prom. That's how it usually goes. When I linked Donnie Iris's "Love is Like a Rock," everyone said they knew that one and that his other song (which I didn't know at all) Ah Leah! was huge in their area.
