Problem is, the distinction is similar to what you point out: the Bible in fact says "Thou shalt not MURDER", which is not the same as "kill".

I'm with you on the not quite cute thing. She's very close to being hot and may have been 5-10 years ago, but there is a certain something about her looks that give one pause. 1) create a stroy that'll sell

2) hurt the military

3) hurt our efforts at fighting terrorism

4) ultimately, to hurt W
