You know, I'm not sure if Rosie is depressed or has tried to deal with her depression. To me she seems depressed. And I'd be depressed too if I'd lost my mom young like she did, and I did btw. I wish she'd do something about it. Or if she is trying to deal with it that she has better success someday.

Before the "bloody, baboons of bolshevism" aka, Liberalism, the notion that it was the duty of the rich and powerful to uplift the masses through positive example and extolling the virtues of honesty, chastity, sobriety, hard work and optimism was still alive. Whether or not they were always able to do so is beside the point: there was general agreement of this social contract. Since Liberalism, this has totally vanished and TV programming reflects this. Anything-for-a-buck has replaced the notion that the public airwaves should enlighten and uphold good moral principles, not just enrich broadcasters. The Liberal media now hides behind free-market and free-speech arguments to excuse itself from any notion that it has a responsability to uplift.

Rosie is trailer-trash from the low-class town of Commack on Long Island. Apparently, there are lots of low class, ignorant, unpleasant, and uneduacted women who identify with her. And rather than uplift and enlighten she tears down and propagandizes. She is a bad example for anyone, and most of all for those women just like her that think its ok to be so.

There is, sadly, always the risk that if you record too many gay-pleasing shows, your TiVo will begin thinking you're gay.
