More Zarqawi-Wounded Rumors: Shot In the Lung, Receiving Piped Oxygen?

Obviously, there have been a lot of rumors about Zarqawi, and we can't take them terribly seriously.

But... there seems to be a drip-drip-drip quality to this latest series of rumors. I don't know if that really ads to the credibility of any of them; but it is sort of different that at least these rumors have follow-up rumors.

That's possible, but I don't think posting this rumor twice will somehow make it more true.

Double post. Loose poop. :P

If he's on oxygen, I hope someone lights up a smoke for him.

It's way better news than this: the vultures are already circling.

I'd say there's a good chance he's already dead.

There's a really bad Bon Jovi "Shot through the Lung/and you're to blame/You give Jihad/a Bad Name" parody just waiting to be born...

Posted by: Steve the LLamabutcher on May 26, 2005 01:39 PM

That occurred to me as well.

Not sure where to go with it, though.

I think better to go with Ratt's Round and Round...

you'd put a bullet... through my lung

Look, say what you want about Ratt, but Bonjovi's really, really gay.

Not gay-gay, but cheesy-gay.

This reminds me of the old joke about the man on vacation who calls his brother. The brother's been watching the man's house for him. His brother tells him his cat has died, and the man goes off on how you never tell someone on vacation bad news straight, that the brother should have started with "the cat's on the roof", then the next day said "the cat's on the roof and won't come down", and so prepare the vacationer for the inevitable news. The punchline of the joke comes after the rant, when the man asks:

"Anyway. How's mom?"
". . . . . Mom's on the roof and she won't come down."

These news snippets make it sound like Zarqawi's on the roof already.

Like Weekend at Bernies is this another Arafat-like Weekend at Zarquawi's?

Posted by: 72VIRGINS on May 26, 2005 02:51 PM

Actually it was Weekend at Yassers.

If they could only find Zarqawi and retrieve the bullet, I'd pay top dollar for the Gov. to track the bullet back to the soldier who fired it and give him a big fat medal. Maybe even a parade.

Posted by: El Capitan on May 26, 2005 03:15 PM

I hope he lives...

long enough for some top-secret special forces badass who doesn't even officially exist to find him and slowly saw off his head with a rusty knife.

Posted by: The Warden on May 26, 2005 03:46 PM

ooooo - wait! Before ya start sawing, let's find a big fat hog... a female hog.... a female hog having her time of the moon .....

and let said hog make a long, slow meal of his testicles.

....if any.

What is the UK Regime's plan for protecting the citizens from the savage criminals they've foisted on the populace? They offer NONE. They do, however, have a plan for protecting the savage criminals from the citizens: The citizens must STAY CALM and not get angry and not share videos of citizens being attacked by savage criminals.
The public keeps saying "protect us from the foreign savages you have imported against our wishes and over our objections" and the UK branch of The Regime keeps proposing plans to protect the foreign savages from the public. Soclose to what the public is demanding, just, you know, the complete opposite.
Just a thought: Maybe you wouldn't have to worry about the public attacking the savage criminals if you actually introduced a plan to protect the public from the savage criminals. Maybe they wouldn't feel as if it was necessary for them to protect the public through self-help.
