THe recoil on a Beretta Cougar .45 is more manageable than the kick (like a little mule) from a Kahr MK40 .40. It's also fairly concealable and accurate as hell for a compact duty pistol.

Oh cool, gun discussion. :D I have 9 semiautomatic handguns (2x .50, 2x 10mm, 1x .45, 3x .357, 1x .22) 2 rifles (1x Browning 10ga, 1x Barrett M468), and a cute li'l revolver (.22) with an etched mother-of-pearl grip. I just got the Barrett and it's the one I'm having the most fun with right now. I love new toys.

I'm not sure that has anything to do with it. The .357 ended up pointing at the ceiling, but the .45 just rose a little. Of course, I suppose it depends on the type and manufacturer. This was a turn-of-the-century Army-issue .45, if that makes any difference.

Oh hell, I thought the whole question about RWS's "guns" was focused on cleavage, ah, I mean, accessories.

Accessories make the outfit. Just make sure you don't tick em off.

My favorite gun will always be the S&W .357 my wife bought me for our first Christmas. Like the one mentioned above, it has a hard kick and is extremely loud. Just like my wife can be at times. (and of course, I deserve it.)
