« Idahoan Bill Announces: Those Voting "Nay" are "Freakin' Idiots" | Main | DefenseTech Round-Up »

They are the MINUTEMEN, and They Will Win

Nah, that's not Michael Moore talking about his jihadist buddies in Iraq. That's me talking about the volunteers (or vigilantes, if you're an ACLU sort of dope) now patrolling the southwestern border for illegal immigrants and their jackals and, more importantly, drug smugglers.

The key quote, picked up on radio, regarding jackals' and drug-smugglers' newfound difficulties in making illegal border-crossings: "We Can't Man, Those F***ers are Everywhere!"

Nice. Not only are they preying on human desperation and bringing drugs (and narcoterrorist gangsters) into our country, but it turns out they're a bunch of damned potty-mouths to boot. And I can't abide that.

The site you link (Confederate Yankee) has a link policy:

I will not knowing link to sites that regularly feature content that would rate more than a PG-13, or an R-rating on the outside. If it ever happens that I link to a site that would earn an NC-17 or higher rating, please let me know.

And he links to you. I'm so telling.

Nothing like taking shots at Michael Moore, but of course, its hard to miss him...

Can't wait for his next fakumentary....

Hobgoblin -

Hate to muddy a thread , but please report to Goldstein's blog for my public exposition of your dishonesty. Being a lawyer and all - even a fancy one with a win record in the OSC - you may be interested in my cross-examination of Exhibit A.

You read my link policy? I don't even read my link policy. FYI, I only put it up after porns site wanted to to do reciprocal linking.

I think they were confusing me with Confederate Spanky...

Posted by: Confederate Yankee on April 15, 2005 01:07 PM

But...but...but..

Maximum Dear Leader Bush castigates the Minutemen as vigilantes, as his corporate sponsors seeking cheaper labor and Presidente Vincente` Fox demand.

Sealing the Border is NOT what Bush and other elites want. That is why the White House promised 2,000 new INS hires then cut it down to 200 in the budget...then we find most of those 200 are administrative types that would be located in DC filing reports and studies showing we were slowly but surely going in a positive direction managing the Borders.

The other thing that compels Republicans to be "Open Borders" people is that the large illegal drug trade - according to theory - rewards wealthy American real estate firms and bankers as drug dealers repatriate the narco-dollar money, and the drug trade helps perpetuate useful pathologies in the Democrat-voting poor.

So on one side, Bush knows Open Borders make for Islamist Evildoers easily getting into the country. That's bad in his eyes.

But on the other side, cheap labor keeps wages down so the "Doer-Folk" at the top can get richer. That's good. And the drug trade - while bad in itself - shouldn't be shut down at the Border because "doer-folks" and entrepreneurs are getting rich off it from drug money moving into their banks or real estate ventures.

It will be up to the public to get control of the Border and shut down illegal immigration and drugs. And support the Minutemen and the 1st Governor with the balls to mobilize the State National Guard and put them on the State border rather than shipping them to Iraq.

Don't think to look to President Bush for leadership on this...his sponsors are so deep into the money being made that Bush is even willing to let terrorist infiltration happen because going against the money interests is unthinkable to him.

I was trying to figure out if you were in NY and I clicked a few links. I was amused by the ratings considering I had come over from Ace's place.

Posted by: Karol on April 15, 2005 01:43 PM

God, is Cedarford not fuckin hohhht.

I do not wish to go crazy on him. I have no interest in getting some coke and hookers, have some fun, fuck and eat with him.

Betsy is not into him, and I have not told her that he is into her, and I have very little interest in having him eat out Betsy.

Cedarford, let's not do this. Let's not have fun. Let's not have sex.

Let's just admit this relationship isn't working and call it a day.

Posted by: ace on April 15, 2005 01:54 PM

ugh, ace, i hate to say this, but cf might have a point.

Not for the conspiracy theories (which are unprovable bunk), but for the proposition that Bush doesn't want well-regulated borders.

Bush just doesn't.

I doubt it's a grand conspiracy of Jooos (bankers, did cf say? to cf's credit he didn't say the Jooos). But there's a distinct unwillingness to address the illegal alien/border problem in the administration.

I don't really care why, but I'm glad those Minutemen guys are out there.

Posted by: hobgoblin on April 15, 2005 02:01 PM

who's Betsy? and why is Ace her personal matchmaker?

Posted by: tinkerbelle on April 15, 2005 02:01 PM

ugh, ace, i hate to say this, but cf might have a point.

Oh, no doubt, Bush can be criticized on the issue.

What I object to is the tone of superiority and constant assholishness of him.

"B-b-b-but our Maximum Dear Leader said..."

It's a cocksucker move. He's not trying to insult Bush; he's trying to insult the Bush supporters here. And I'm just sick of it.

I don't ban people, but it's time to start calling a spade a spade and an antisemitic prick an antisemitic prick.

Posted by: ace on April 15, 2005 02:05 PM

Ace: Can I request your services as personal matchmaker?

Posted by: tinkerbelle on April 15, 2005 02:06 PM

who's Betsy? and why is Ace her personal matchmaker?

It's a refernce to the Pat O'Brien phone sex tapes. If you search for Pat O'Brien, you'll find them.

they're not safe for work. Unless you have the volume way down, or have your own office. You know.

Posted by: ace on April 15, 2005 02:06 PM

ace,

my tilting at windmills experiment for the month is to try to get our buddy CF to stop being unnecessarily assholish. It's a difficult effort, and it may already be too late, but I have to try. And cf's shown some progress, to his credit.

It may lead him to think that not all Catholic Zionists are out to get him. From there? Maybe he'll reconsider the Jooo=unmitigated evil thing. (Psst, There's no conspiracy, cf, just people advancing self-interest as they see it.)

One can only hope.

Hob, when you're done working on Cedarford, could you start on Bill? ;)

Later,

Posted by: bbeck on April 15, 2005 02:50 PM

bbeck,

we're still in the initial severe hostility phase with Bill. It'll be a while before that will pass, and the ignoring phase is next with him anyway.

I really am trying to do good.

hobgoblin - bringing civility to the internet, one flame at a time.

; )

Posted by: hobgoblin on April 15, 2005 02:59 PM

You know the thing about CF?

Some day's, when he's in full anti-semitic rant mode, he sounds just like a Nazi.

Other day's, when he's in full "conspiracy driven drug cartel" mode, he sounds just like a Lyndon Larouche devotee.

Then there are days where his vituperative disgust with Pres. Bush makes him sound like a typical member of DU.

I guess the only thing consistent about CF is his assclownery.

Posted by: Jack M. on April 15, 2005 03:00 PM

And everyday he sounds institutionalized

Posted by: BrewFan on April 15, 2005 03:05 PM

Ignoring usually ends up being the best course of action. I don't even read CF's stuff anymore, haven't for...gosh, a while.

It's good to see you ending your posts in a smile...:)

Later,
bbeck

I've heard of a 60 minute man, but a 635 minute man project? !

In the unlikely event you have a painful or prolonged erection (lasting more than 4 hours), stop using this drug and seek immediate medical attention or permanent problems could occur.

Okay, so I'm using this comment thread for my own self amusement. Bite me.

Posted by: compos mentis on April 15, 2005 03:25 PM

So ACE (Cedarford asks humbly) ....

In your opinion ----why has Bush refused to address Border security since 9/11 and called volunteers to watch it - given Bush will not staff the Border Control adequately" Why did Bush call the Minutemen ....illegal "vigilantes" right after the Mexican President Fox huffed up and demanded an end to "vigilantes" interfering with "undocumented workers" America should be grateful for.

I am honestly interested in your theory.

You seem to support their efforts, but don't appear to like Bush being lumped into their opponents.
