LGF Has People Making "LGF Minion" Leather Biker Jackets, And I Can't Sell a $15 Schmatta

People asked if I was in a depressed mood, as they thought that Nietzche quotes were a subconscious cry for help.

Well, I wasn't depressed then. I am now, though.

I think I'm going to browse through Twillight of the Gods as I gently exsanguinate myself (okay, Megan?) in the bathtub.

"Dude," thanks for ruining my day. PS, my most beloved dog was killed by a car some years ago. Make sure you bring that up in your next comment.

Update: If you watch Deadwood, scroll down to the next post, to find Mr. Wu's defense of Tom DeLay.

If you made up shirts with a picture of your dog and captioned it: "dog is dead," I'd buy one.

Posted by: Lennie on April 13, 2005 04:36 PM

That really is too fucking cool. When you've got people wearing your brand as fucking gang apparel, you've arrived.

Posted by: Allah on April 13, 2005 04:50 PM

I don't think Charles knew anything about this. Apparently the lizardoids did these jackets on their own initiative. Perhaps you should tell your minions to design their own damn t-shirts.

Indymedia ran with this photo several days ago. I hate giving those rancid little pusbuckets any traffic, but the thread is hysterical in several different senses of the term. Here's the link:

You stupid dick.

Coming soon: the silver-and-black Oakland Raiders/Allahpundit starter jacket.

Posted by: Allah on April 13, 2005 04:53 PM

Suddenly I'm thinking about an Ace of Spades bandana. And I'm liking it.

For the conservative cholo in your life.

Posted by: Allah on April 13, 2005 04:58 PM

I love Mr. Wu.

One day, I will give a Pentagon briefing in nothing but Wu-Speak.

That day will be my last day working in the Pentagon.

Ahhhh, to dream. . .

Cheers,
Dave at Garfield Ridge

Posted by: Dave at Garfield Ridge on April 13, 2005 04:58 PM

Um, Ace? They're not jackets, they're patches. They come in two sizes - the big back patch, and a shoulder patch.

I'll do my best to have a picture snapped of my cashmere wrap with a LGF Minion shoulder patch on it.

Some gang. I mean, it's a lizard humping a football, with the word "minion" on it. Gangs try to sound fierce and scary. What gang would call themselves the minions?

Posted by: Dianna on April 13, 2005 05:05 PM

You're killing the cool, Dianna.

I want an LGF switchblade with the words "The Truth Hurts" engraved on the steel.

Posted by: Allah on April 13, 2005 05:10 PM

Hey, where can I get one of those jackets! I think I'm gonna buy 8 or so and give 'em out as x-mas gifts...

Posted by: fat kid on April 13, 2005 05:10 PM

I wanna be just as cool as people who advertise their favorite inter-n-e-t

. . . .s-i-t-e-s

. . . o--n

. . . c--l---o--t---h . . . .

um, what was the point of this thread?

(still haven't gotten my fucking shirt yet, bastards)

Posted by: hobgoblin on April 13, 2005 05:16 PM

Allah, sweetie, I personally can't help you out with that, but I'll mention it to some other folks, and see if they can.

P.S. I miss you! Come back!

Posted by: Dianna on April 13, 2005 05:22 PM

I did mention that I will soon be the proud possessor of an LGF Minion patch, right?

Posted by: Dianna on April 13, 2005 05:23 PM

That reminds me... Thanx, Ace, for recommending "Cocksucker Creek." I don't have HBO, but I took a chance and bought the first season on DVD (nice boxed set - btw). Loved it!

Posted by: RapidTRansit on April 13, 2005 05:24 PM

THIS GUY'S GOT A FUCKING SHIRT!!!!

Finally came just now in the mail.

Really quality. Very nice. The red on the back isn't too vibrant, so the quote looks, dare I say, cool?

Mach, very mach. (macho)

Posted by: hobgoblin on April 13, 2005 05:25 PM

Eh, being a minion is so gay, and not in a Viking way either.

Posted by: Iblis on April 13, 2005 05:32 PM

*shakes fist in the air*

Damn you hobgoblin - I'm here at work for another 5 hours. Wonder if mine came in --- where are those guys headquartered? (e. coast vs. west)

Posted by: fat kid on April 13, 2005 05:33 PM

Those patches look bitchin' on the biker vest...

Posted by: WindRider95 on April 13, 2005 05:46 PM

Don't feel bad Ace!

If it helps any, I made a scale replica of Ace of Spades World HQ out of popsicle sticks and empty bottles of val-u-rite discount vodka.

I used a q-tip to represent you, and a bigger q-tip with pipe cleaner arms wielding a macaroni shaped "hammer" top represent Paul Anka.

Allah is in the display as well. I used an old teabag for him.

Posted by: Jack M. on April 13, 2005 05:50 PM

Ya know Ace, we're not minions, we could be your army of DeathCard Troopers

Posted by: Iblis on April 13, 2005 05:56 PM

Ace,

You just haven't pissed off enough of the right people yet to start having a dedicated following.

Posted by: Outlaw_Wizard on April 13, 2005 05:59 PM

Ace,

The death card done as a patch would be perfectamundo on a biker vest...sign me up...time to update for the riding season...

Posted by: WindRider95 on April 13, 2005 06:01 PM

Oh Creator of Worlds,

We miss you! And don't you know that only poseurs would desecrate good steel with engraving? Steel is, after all, a religion.

Woo hoo!

I got my shirt today too and I ordered on the second round.

I must say that it looks a lot sharper than I thought it would. I really like it.

The only hassle is (and this may be my fault) I got black when I thought I ordered gray. Oh well, my receipt is on my office computer and I'm home now so I'll check into that tomorrow.

Overall, I'm pleased.

Nice job Ace.

My momma always told me: "Never trust a man named PotatoHeadBobby"...

"Twilight of the Gods" (Goetterdaemmerung) is Wagner's last opera in the Ring Cycle.
Nietzsche wrote "Twilight of the Idols" (Goetzen-Daemmerung).

Posted by: Otho Laurence on April 13, 2005 06:13 PM

Ace,

I just ordered a tee-shirt. Charcoal! I'm looking forward to getting it. It should make a nifty birthday present, don't you think?

Maranna

Posted by: Maranna on April 13, 2005 06:14 PM

I would get a shirt, but I'm not a guy. and, I look like a lesbian in boy t-shirts. And, not one of those hot lesbians. The girls want LOW CUT shirts. Otherwise, what's the point in having boobies?

Posted by: carin on April 13, 2005 06:25 PM

carin,

too much talking, not enough camwhoring

Posted by: hobgolbin on April 13, 2005 06:30 PM

Ace,

This is your third thread mentioning Nietzsche, spelling his name wrong every time. Loose shit!

Posted by: someone on April 13, 2005 06:44 PM

I parrot hobgoblin.

If you've got the boobies you need to slice like a f*ckin' hammer while treating me like I'm from Missouri.

It's the "Show Me State".

Posted by: Birkel on April 13, 2005 06:52 PM

Charles also has 10* your readership.

He also lives with endless trolls & hate mail, death threats, and disrepect from the gutless on his "side" who won't stand up to the left's torrent of lies and slander about his site.

Somehow I think you may have the better deal here.

Posted by: someone on April 13, 2005 06:58 PM

With that shirt Ace is selling, you guys wouldn't see much anyway.

Posted by: carin on April 13, 2005 06:58 PM

Hop on this one FAST or you'll miss the boat Ace, its spreading like effing WILDFIRE:

Carin,

I'm fairly certain I'm a better judge of these things than are you.

Posted by: Birkel on April 13, 2005 07:15 PM

Way to post a registration link, Colon.

and then fuck up the email/password

You're the best colon in the hole world

Posted by: hobgoblin on April 13, 2005 07:27 PM

Woo hoo!

Got my shirt today. Went for a walk in the park.

Oh Noooooooooooooo!

I was swarmed by homos. They just kept coming out of the bushes. I couldn't keep them off me. That shirt is worse than a tux!

(Just kidding -- shirt has not actually arrived. Am dusting off my broomstick with "Ace's squeekhole" written all over it.)

Posted by: Michael on April 13, 2005 07:31 PM

You know there's a baby-t right, Carin?

Posted by: CraigC on April 13, 2005 07:44 PM

Hey Ace, would it help if I started sending hate mail? That might get you the crazy lgf numbers. I'll mispell every other word so it looks realistic.

Still paitiently waiting for my shirt.

For now.

Posted by: michael dennis on April 13, 2005 07:51 PM

Michael,

You might want to hold off on that moonbat riff. I mean if Cafe Press got your order mixed up and sent you one of the LLL Hateware shirts instead, that would be like a further indicator for the friendly boys and girls of the Secret Service, who do NOT agree with the 9th Circus...

I just want to know where I can get a snickers tree!!!

No more stealing from Holloween bags!!!!!

Posted by: Rightwingsparkle on April 13, 2005 08:35 PM

RWS:

Did you steal Snickers from your kids? I am shocked, shocked I say, that a lady who is the Flower of Southern Womanhood would do such I thing.

I did it too. I have a major Snickers jones.

So now I know you have two guilty pleasures.

You need three.

Posted by: Michael on April 13, 2005 08:57 PM

Ace, shirts look great - just got mine in. Dunno that I'll be cuttin the sleeves off and taking it to the gym though - they're pretty tight. In a good way. Hah.

Posted by: fat kid on April 13, 2005 11:38 PM

Well, ace, you've got the right idea aiming high. If your competition is LGF, you'll have that crazy blog money rolling in any time now.

Posted by: hobgoblin on April 13, 2005 11:44 PM

Acey dear--got my tee shirt
it's charming
i'm off to pillage and burn now
like a Death card Trooper

Posted by: auntie ace on April 14, 2005 01:53 AM

Baby tee are for little girls. I want low cut. Scoop neck. Otherwise, the shirt just doesn't get worn.
