Gay Rumor! Of the Day!

Hey! Just got a tip!

I think this guy...

...just may be one of those keister-divers I was just talking about!

My evidence? Well, for one thing, look at those shoes! Okay, you can't see them, but you know they are "fashion-forward," if you know what I mean!

For another thing, he actually says he's some kind of homo! Comes right out and admits it! Which isn't as fun as outing closeted homos, but, hey, he's in the military, so he may turn out to be Republican!

And wouldn't that be fun!

What the hell is going on?! It's been three days since I was mentioned in the New York Times! Has Wonkete jumped the shark?!

Only time will tell! Stay posted!

How Long Are You Going to Keep This Up For, Asshole? Update: Well I don't know. How long will it take to fill my tipjar?

So, is that a mauve heart he's won?

Couldn't you just link back to when you made fun of Wonkette's exclamation marks last year?

Posted by: Some Guy on April 8, 2005 02:24 PM

Yan't fool me! That is the NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon holding up a Daytona 500 award certificate and a little medal his Pit Crew gave him for not yelling at them once at the Tobacco Chew 250 held in Dothan, Alabama.

Some Guy,

Hey, man... give me a break. I'm not even getting paid for this bullshit.

Posted by: ace on April 8, 2005 02:47 PM

'Sides, what long-time readers kinda forget is that I am, sometimes, actually getting NEW readers on the site, and I'd sort of like them to come back, so everyonce in a while I like to link some old stuff.

Or repeat old jokes.

Look, every fucking D&D game goes exactly the same way, too, I don't hear you geektards complaining about that.

Sometimes, when I want to stir up biz at the shop, I get rid of the cookie jar and just put out a nice big plate of pickled herring.

Posted by: lauraw on April 8, 2005 02:55 PM

Looks like he's holding a Purple Heart.

Posted by: Man of Substance on April 8, 2005 07:30 PM

Purple Heart?
Well, Yeah duh... it says so in the link... I'm dropping a 5 in the tip jar as penalty for my ignorance.

Posted by: Man of Substance on April 8, 2005 07:41 PM

Fair enough Ace. I started reading your blog when you ran the 'best of' series a while back.

But so many Wonkette jokes in a row really is running the joke into the ground. I'm just saying.
