OSLO, Norway (Reuters) -- Swedish home furnishings giant IKEA is guilty of sex discrimination by showing only men putting together furniture in its instruction manuals, Norway's prime minister says.

IKEA, which has more than 200 stores in 32 nations, fears it might offend Muslims by depicting women assembling everything from cupboards to beds.

Ace, I live here in Georgia and the AJC is in no way a conservative-leaning rag. The editorial board is leftist and they feature Molly Ivins, Maureen Dowd, and Thomas Friedman on a regular basis. They have their token conservative-Jim Wooten. I finally let my subscription run out and won't resubscribe, not because they are liberal, but because on both the editorial page and in the featured articles, they have become predictable and boring-Racism, homophobia and George W. Bush's incompetance are the cause of all the world's ills

I DO wonder how many people attribute that quote to Khan instead of Ahab...and then I get really sad at the current state of our educational system...
