Michelle Malkin at CPAC

smallmichelle2.JPG

Here's a shot of Michelle Malkin holding up my death-card business card. Kinda cool. At least it made my day.

She was sick, and told me she didn't want to give me her germs. I told her proudly that I had stronger germs.

Whoa! Very cool Ace. I bow to you Master. You see all - you know all. (She's pretty hot man!)

Posted by: Philip on February 21, 2005 08:18 PM

That's awesome!!

Posted by: Ol' BC on February 21, 2005 08:31 PM

Michelle is deeeelish....

Posted by: Golden Boy on February 21, 2005 08:33 PM

Lucky bastard.

Posted by: Rusty on February 21, 2005 09:08 PM

Brains AND Beauty - always good to have together. Her columns are outstanding, glad she is on our side. Too bad Britney isn't as smart - she is really cute, in a puppyish way. Oh well, at least Britney is pro-Bush (I think).

Punk.

(Sorry, that's just the jealousy speaking.)

Posted by: ken on February 21, 2005 09:15 PM

Sure don't look sick in that photo ...

Posted by: on February 21, 2005 09:24 PM

No way the NYTimes will hire you now.

One thing that struck me from the CPAC pics and video is how YOUNG she looks. She writes with the poise of a forty-something, but she looks like she's in her mid-twenties.

Anybody know what her age is, more or less?

Posted by: SWLiP on February 21, 2005 10:09 PM

Ace-- very cool. Beautiful with an incredibly sharp pen; what a combo!

Although, from that picture, my hatred of all things Oliver Willis is increasing exponentially as I type.

Man, that guy is like school in the summer: no class.

Cheers,
Dave at Garfield Ridge

Based on her "about" link on her home page:

http://michellemalkin.com/about.htm

It would seem she probably graduated from college in the late '80s or early '90s. That'd leave some room for her to move from reporter to opinion journalist. If my numbers are right, I'd guess she's about 34-39. But that's just a guess.

As far as hotness goes, hers knows no bounds. She's hotter than hot. She's on fucking fire hot. Add to that her intelligence quotient, and her conservative roots, and her powerful personality (she's not intimidated by anyone, and she's gotten plenty of abuse), and that makes her about the hottest thing that walks the earth. She's from the house of the lion, with the heart of an eagle and the beatuy of a goddess. (OK, sure I've gone overboard, but watching her on Fox is like video gold. Sometimes I can't even listen to what she's saying she's so hot).

OK, now I'm done. I think I'm going to follow the wisdom of that Wales rugby fan before I go do something dreadful.

You just got one up on Frank J. I mean, sure, on his blog she's wearing his t-shirt, but at least here she's not holding her kid, reminding you and the rest of us how she's married.

Posted by: Sean M. on February 21, 2005 10:57 PM

Dave ...
Have pity on O-Dub. He's the way he is because he knows, deep down, that Michelle Malkin will never love him the way he loves her.

As such, crying into his Filet-O-Fish sandwich in the middle of the night as he curls up into a fetal ball on his bed and spewing moonbattery is all he can do.

Posted by: Xoxotl on February 21, 2005 11:28 PM

Would it ok for me to send the picture of you I found on another site so she can post it on her page? It's not nearly as pretty, but her female readers may like it.....

Posted by: bullwinkle on February 21, 2005 11:30 PM

Bullwinkle,

I'd really rather you didn't. That would sort of hurt my anonymity.

Posted by: ace on February 21, 2005 11:43 PM

Well the ring finger kind of gives it away. Maybe Ace can photoshop that insufferable reminder so as to allow us lowly commenters our lofty dreams. I don't EVER want to know who THAT is - not even his name…

Posted by: Philip on February 22, 2005 02:58 AM

Ace--you should have that photo enlarged to make placemats, drink coasters, Christmas cards, pirate flags, hand outs for the shopping malls.
Ace unleashed!

Posted by: on February 22, 2005 04:03 AM

You have Ace of Spades HQ (TM) business cards?

And no one here has picked up on or made fun of you for that?

How gob smackingly vile.

Posted by: senatorphilabuster on February 22, 2005 08:25 AM

Yummy

Posted by: Uncle Mikey on February 22, 2005 10:52 AM

What a babe! The only thing better than this would be her in the woods in camo with a Remington 700 rifle in .300 Win mag!

Posted by: 72VIRGINS on February 22, 2005 12:04 PM

Damn, I don't look that good when I'm sick! It's not fair!

Posted by: kimberly on February 22, 2005 02:10 PM

ACE is that you on Michelle's website next to her with the white shirt and glasses? Ooops!

Posted by: 72WIVES on February 22, 2005 04:09 PM

Bullwinkle,

From your old pal Rocky: Where can we find a pik of the ACE?

Posted by: Rocky on February 22, 2005 04:11 PM

ACE is that you on Michelle's website next to her with the white shirt and glasses? Ooops!

Well, I don't see the picture you're referring to, but in any event, I did not wear a white shirt at CPAC and I didn't wear glasses, either.

So, no.

Posted by: ace on February 22, 2005 04:22 PM

I'd really appreciate if people stopped trying to get my picture, and didn't send it around.

Posted by: ace on February 22, 2005 04:26 PM

ACE - OK, I was just being a dick and had not thought through the implications before, but now I see your point.

Posted by: 72VIRGINS on February 22, 2005 04:43 PM

I seem to have lost the link for that picture I saw that may or may not have been Ace. Come to think of it it looked quite a bit like David Hasselhoff.
Note to Ace, these small bills better not be marked or the deal is off....

Posted by: bullwinkle on February 22, 2005 05:45 PM

One good thing about Malkin is she is one of the first Philippine-Americans to achieve fame. A quiet minority, but there are millions.

Congrats on the pic, Ace.

Posted by: Cedarford on February 23, 2005 12:04 AM

speaking of semi-popular Filipino's in America how about that Lea Salonga... mmm yummy.

She sang "A whole new world" for Disney's Aladdin and was the singing voice for Princess Jasmine in the movie.

Also the singing voice in Mulan.

Did Miss Saigon on Broadway for years.

People magazine: 50 Most Beautiful People in the world in 1991

While not as visible now as Michelle Malkin is, she was pretty big back in the 90's.

Lou Diamond Philips is also part Filipino.

You're right though there's not too many high profile Filipino's in the US.

Funniest thing I've read about the Virginia mess. Back when they were hustling the referendum through the assembly both Senators, Warner and Kaine, advised them to go slow and play by the rules. Louise Lucas said she respected them but didn't need advice from the "cuck chair" in the corner. The gerrymandering was overturned and Louise is heading for the big house. Edward G. -- reportedly a genuine comment offered by a "senior Labour source"
Correction: I wrote that Labour is losing 88% (now 87%) of the seats it is "defending." I think that's wrong. The right way to say it is the seats they are contesting -- that is, they don't necessarily already hold these seats, but they have put up a candidate to run for the seat. It's still very bad but not as bad as losing 87% of the seats they already held.

🚨ED MILIBAND [a Minister in Starmer's government] SAYS KEIR STARMER WILL RESIGN AS PRIME MINISTER

He has reportedly reassured Labour MP's that Starmer will be resigning following the disastrous results tonight

It's over
"The end of the two party system in the UK" as first the Fake Conservatives and now Labour chooses political suicide rather than simply STOPPING THE INVASION
Incidentally, the only reason this didn't already happen in the US is because of the Very Bad Orange Man (who is right on 85% of all policy calls and extremely, existentially right on 15% of them)
No political party that is NOT also a doomsday religious cult would EVER choose a cataclysmic loss -- and possible extinction as a party -- to support a toxically unpopular favoritism of NON-CITIZEN ILLEGAL MIGRANTS over actual citizen voters.

Only a cult does this.
Now they've lost 84%.
Annunziata Rees-Mogg
@zatzi
If this continues Labour loses 2,148 seats tonight.

That is much worse than the worst case predictions I’ve seen.

Cataclysmic

Update: They've now lost 88% of the seats they're defending. As I mentioned earlier, I think I heard that London will not bail them out, as many of those Labour seats will probably flip to "Muslim Independent" or Green. Detroit's 5am vote will not save them.
Yup, Labour is losing 80% of its seats...
The British Patriot
@TheBritLad

🚨 BREAKING: Labour have lost 80% of all seats contested as of 2:25 AM.<
br> If this continues, Keir Starmer will be out of office next week.

Reform has surged and projected to pick up between 1700-2100 seats.

Wow, up to 1700-2100 seats. It's not incredible that this is happening. It's incredible that the Davos crowd is so absolutely determined to privilege Muslim "migrants" over the actual native population who elects them, no matter how loudly the natives scream that they want to be prioritized, that they will gladly self-extinguish as a party rather than simply representing the interests of their own voters. Astonishing.
Remember, when they call other people "cultists" -- they are the ones so imprisoned in their social reinforcement and discipline bubbles that they will choose political death rather than dare upset the Karen Enforcement Officers of their cult.
Update: Now they've lost 83% of the seats they were defending.
(((Dan Hodges)))
@DPJHodges

Reform are basically wiping Labour out in the North. It's not a defeat. It's not even a rout. Labour are simply ceasing to exist.

Nick Lowles
@lowles_nick

Tonight’s results are calamitous for Labour. Not just for Keir Starmer's leadership, but for the very future of the party
STARMERGEDDON: In early returns, Reform gains 135 seats, Labour loses 90, the Fake Conservatives lose 36 (and I didn't even know they could fall any further), the Lib Dems lose 4, and the Greens gain 6. Note that the only other party gaining seats is the Greens and they're only gaining a handful of seats.
Update: Reform now up 145, Labour down 98.
Labour projected to lose Wales -- where they've ruled for 27 years.
Fulton County Georgia just discovered 400 boxes of ballots for Labour
Update: REF +156, LAB -107, CON -45
Brutal: In four out of five council seats where Labour is defending, they've lost. 80%.
I'm sure it's not this simple, but Reform is straight taking Labour's and the "Conservatives'" seats. They've lost almost exactly what Reform gained. If understand this right (and warning, I probably don't), all of London's council seats are up for election, and Labour might lose hugely there, as their old voters abandon them for Reform, Muslim Indenpendents, and the Greens.
REF +190, LAB -134, CON -56.
Updates on the Labour collapse in council elections -- which wags are calling #Starmergeddon -- from Beege Welborne. There are about 5000 seats up for grabs, Labour is expected to lose 1,800, Reform will probably gain 1,580, up from... zero. So this would be more than that.
People claim that while Labour has adopted the Sharia Agenda to appeal to the million Muslims it allowed to migrate to the country, those voters are ditching Labour to vote for the Muslim Independent Party or the Greens. Delicious. This shadenfreude is going straight to my thighs.
Oh, and if Starmer loses about as badly as expected, Labour will toss him out of a window Braveheart style and replace him. He will announce he is resigning to spend more time with his Gay Ukrainian Male Prostitutes.
Media bias and senationalism are as old as, well, the media:

That was written by Denny O'Neill and illustrated by, get this, Frank Miller. Editor to the Stars Jim Shooter was in charge at the time.
I always thought the gag was original to the comic book, but in fact the "Threat or Menace" headline was a satirical joke about media bias and sensationalism for a long while. The Harvard Lampoon used it in a parody of Life magazine: "Flying Saucers: Threat or Menace?"
