Fallujah Terrorists Had Enough Arms to "Rule Iraq"

It seems this is the first gun-confiscation program that the Europeans don't like:

NEAR FALLUJA, Iraq (Reuters) - Arab militants and insurgents who ruled the volatile city of Falluja before a U.S.-led offensive this month had enough weapons to take over all of Iraq, Marine officers said on Wednesday.

"We found enough weapons in Falluja for the insurgency to take over the whole country," Lieutenant Colonel Dan Wilson told a news conference at a U.S. base near the western city.

...

Wilson said the Marines were surprised by the number and range of weapons, from home-made flame throwers to surface-to-air missiles, found in a city that was seen as the backbone of a relentless insurgency.

But few dare call it victory.

Thanks to Tanker.

Aw, shucks. If only they hadn't died by the thousands, they might've used those weapons to great advantage for the 'heroic' "insurgency".

Pussies. Die, all of them, just keep on dyin'.

Guess it's pretty clear - with all that firepower, they just can't muster the manpower to use it. Well, probably because they're mostly "underground" by now, if you know what I mean...

But liberal Democrats are convinced the more terrorists you kill, the more you capture, the more sanctuaries you destroy, the more IEDs and weapons you neutralize ----the stronger the enemy gets!!!

Fallujah was a Huge Mistake, don'tcha know???? Another Vietnam! A quagmire!!

It's a shame they weren't there to recount their theory to Hitler in the Last Days in the Bunker....because, evidently we didn't know it at the time, but years of heavy losses had in fact made Hitler invincible.

Hey, Ace -- on a related topic, something has been bugging me about your site's H.L. Mencken quote -- the terrorists are out there doing just what Mencken describes, hoisting black flags and slitting throats... but they aren't normal!!!... Maybe time to get a new quote?

In the long run, despite the terrible atrocities they were able to commit by having a safe area, setting up a stable base of operations was the terrorists' undoing in Fallujah.

Taking the pressure off them after the invasion and allowing the area to temporarily become a 'no go' zone probably helped that along. Once they became entrenched, with their own supply depots and 'establishment' such as it was, urban warfare became much more effective for our forces.

It would have been much harder for a conventional army to take out a scattered force of roving guerrillas (melting in and out of the civilian population) in as meaningful a way as what has occurred in Fallujah.

That said, I'm sure our men and the Iraqis still have difficulties ahead.

But hey! Lots of kills, and lots of munitions confiscated. Good hunting guys. We love you.

Damn, Cedarford. Sometimes you almost sound like a rational human being.

I saw Bill "Numbnuts" Maher on Larry King Live the other night, he was opining that you can't beat insurgents in an occupied country, completely ignoring all the times insurgents in occupied countries have been beaten. His example, (as if I had to say it) was Vietnam, as if the VC "insurgency" hadn't been beaten at Tet, only to reform after it became painfully obvious that the American news media was on their side.

ANOTHER LEFT WING ASSASSIN ATTEMPTS TO KILL TRUMP
If I understand this, the left-wing Democrat assassin attempted to get into the White House Correspondents Association dinner, and was stopped at the magnetometers, which detected his gun. I guess he pulled out the gun and was shot by Secret Service agents.

Important Message from Recent Convert to Christianity and Yet Super-Serious Christian Tuq'r Qarlson: Actually Muslims love Jesus, it's Trump and his neocons who hate him
Tucker Carlson Network
@TCNetwork

The people in charge [Jews, of course -- ace] don't want you to know this, but Muslims love Jesus.

Islam reveres Him as a major prophet and messenger of the Lord, believes He performed miracles, and states that He will return to Earth to defeat the Antichrist. That's why Donald Trump's painting depicting himself as the Son of God offended the president of Iran. It was an attack on his religion as well as Christianity.

Trump's trolling tweet was ill-advised, but Tucker is just lying when he claims the Christianity-hating President of Iran was "offended" by this.
He's one step away from announcing his official conversion to Islam. He literally never stops praising Islam. Well, he suddenly became Christian two years ago, there's not much stopping him from converting again.
You can track Tuq'r's official conversion to Islam with this Bingo card.

Politico is reporting that multiple people have abruptly resigned from Eric Swalwell's gubernatorial campaign: "Members of senior leadership have departed the campaign, including Courtni Pugh, a strategic adviser who served as Swalwell's top liaison to organized labor groups."

So the campaign is collapsing due to the truth of the sexual harassment allegations.
That hissing sound you hear is the air going out of the Swalwell campaign. UPDATE: No it wasn't, it was just Swalwell one-cheek-sneaking out a fart on camera

Now twenty people will tell me it's not obscure, it was huge in their hometown and played at their prom. That's how it usually goes. When I linked Donnie Iris's "Love is Like a Rock," everyone said they knew that one and that his other song (which I didn't know at all) Ah Leah! was huge in their area.
