I find it very unlikely that the Democrats can give up the Orwellian cant that serves as the "secret" handshake within their ranks and marks them instantly for those of us on the outside. I hope Hoke is not bashing Jim DeMint. Being from SC and knowing DeMinit and his policies, He is going to be one of the best conservative senators. And from what I hear about Coburn is that he will be good too.

I will give you the fact that DeMint is not the best speaker in the world. He does not reek charisma. He is more of a policy wonk, but he knows his stuff and is a true conservative.

I would rather have DeMint over someone like McCain anyday!
