« Kristol: Exit Polls Systematically Understating Bush's Actual Level of Support? | Main | CNN: Mitch Daniels Takes Indiana Governorship »
November 02, 2004

Aragorn Rallies Against the Orcs?

I can't link it all, but just go to the Corner and KerrySpot for a taste. It appears that the exit polls really might be entirely wrong -- and all too favorable to Kerry -- and that Bush might actually be cruising to relatively-comfortable wins in Ohio and Florida, with the shot of winning several upper midwest Gore states to boot.

KerrySpot says the demeanor of the whole Fox panel has changed in the last hour. Kristol and Barnes up, Juan Williams shouting Spanish curses at the sound-man.

Knock wood. Knock, knock, knock on wood, baby.

Serious Problems With Exit Polls:

From KerrySpot:

The exit polls show the national electorate at 57% female when in 2000 it was 52/48.

The President is winning men in exit polls by only 4-points. The last battleground poll this morning showed him winning men by 12 points.

H/t to "someone."

So Drudge wasn't getting played, the numbers really were that ridiculous? Hilarious.

The problem with this analogy:

We all know which side the army of the dead would be coming out for.

I'm getting more and more optimistic as the night wears on. And the sangria is smoooooooth.

One short note. I'm online with a bunch of high school friends. I had thought there were maybe 3 Bush voters in the 12 of us. We did a tally, and we're 9-3 for Bush.

Shocked me to hell. They were *very* closeted in their Bush support. Now that they've voted, they're piping up.

I hope they're a sign of things to come.

There's an Army of Lovers song joke in here somewhere, but I've had to much beer...

ABC News is reporting that the President will address the Country shortly...no news as to the message

Posted by: sonofnixon on November 2, 2004 09:46 PM

My guess: either a big AQ honcho just met his virgins, or we're rolling into Fallujah.

Posted by: someone on November 2, 2004 09:47 PM

That would be so f*cking RAD (and classy) for Bush to come out with something like "OBL is dead, we killed him months ago, didn't want to bust it out prior to the election for fears of vote pandering charges".

I'd f*cking SWOON.

To borrow a word Kerry used when the Sox won: I'm "giddy"

Heh.

CNN's electoral vote tracker is showing solid Bush leads in MI, WI, and MN. Things aren't looking better, things are looking great. Knock on wood, though. Definitely knock on wood. Kim Richards against my headboard knocking on wood.

Juan Williams gives doucebags a bad name.

P.S. Is Andrew Sullivan in the fetal position yet?

Ronnie Jr. wants to know.

Posted by: sonofnixon on November 2, 2004 10:14 PM

D'oh, make that MO, not MN. Kim Richards distracted me.

Posted by: Trevor on November 2, 2004 10:15 PM

I'm starting to get that same feeling I had three weeks ago here in Oz. I won't call it just yet, but it's a goooood feeling.

Posted by: Pixy Misa on November 2, 2004 10:34 PM

Why wouldn't this be a VERY GOOD thing?? I still despise Rather more than Kerry AND Michael Moore combined--don't think I've ever been exit polled--but if I had, I would ALWAYS "lie" like a horny rug on the floor of a mosque

Drive ALL of these LLL MSM SOBs to the humiliation altars of their respective "echo chambers" permanently

If this cycle hasn't convinced this country of THAT necessity, NOTHING will

Hang and BURN the "umpires"--start the "new dynasty" now, ACE, buddy

Posted by: Ignore the Man Behind the Curtain on November 2, 2004 11:00 PM

I thought it was going to be even bigger for the good guys in American than it was here in OZ. But it looks as if it's going to be the same.

Good enough! :D

Well, so far so good, but remember:

Important Message from Recent Convert to Christianity and Yet Super-Serious Christian Tuq'r Qarlson: Actually Muslims love Jesus, it's Trump and his neocons who hate him
Tucker Carlson Network
@TCNetwork

The people in charge [Jews, of course -- ace] don't want you to know this, but Muslims love Jesus.

Islam reveres Him as a major prophet and messenger of the Lord, believes He performed miracles, and states that He will return to Earth to defeat the Antichrist. That's why Donald Trump's painting depicting himself as the Son of God offended the president of Iran. It was an attack on his religion as well as Christianity.

Trump's trolling tweet was ill-advised, but Tucker is just lying when he claims the Christianity-hating President of Iran was "offended" by this.
He's one step away from announcing his official conversion to Islam. He literally never stops praising Islam. Well, he suddenly became Christian two years ago, there's not much stopping him from converting again.
You can track Tuq'r's official conversion to Islam with this Bingo card.

People say that the bearded man in the video of Fartwell molesting a hooker looks like Democrat Arizona Senator Rueben Gallego, said to be Swalwell's "best friend" and known to take vacations with him.
@KFILE 21m

Politico is reporting that multiple people have abruptly resigned from Eric Swalwell's gubernatorial campaign: "Members of senior leadership have departed the campaign, including Courtni Pugh, a strategic adviser who served as Swalwell's top liaison to organized labor groups."

So the campaign is collapsing due to the truth of the sexual harassment allegations.
That hissing sound you hear is the air going out of the Swalwell campaign. UPDATE: No it wasn't, it was just Swalwell one-cheek-sneaking out a fart on camera
Eric Swalwell more like Eric Farewell amirite

This is the dumbest AI bullslop I've seen in a while: the CIA can use "quantum magnetometry" to track an individual man's heartbeat from twelve miles away
I wouldn't click on it, it's not interesting, it's just stupid clickslop. I just want to share my annoyance with you.
Oil prices plunge on bizarre realization that Eric Swalwell may actually be straight. A rapey molester, allegedly, but a straight one.
Classic Rock Mystery Click
This is super-obscure and I only barely remember it. Given that, I'll give you the hint that it's by the Red Rocker.
And I guess you think you've got it made
Oh, but then, you never were afraid
Of anything that you've left behind
Oh, but it's alright with me now
'Cause I'll get back up somehow
And with a little luck, yes, I'm bound to win

Now twenty people will tell me it's not obscure, it was huge in their hometown and played at their prom. That's how it usually goes. When I linked Donnie Iris's "Love is Like a Rock," everyone said they knew that one and that his other song (which I didn't know at all) Ah Leah! was huge in their area.
