Not Good: Kerry By One in FloridaWell, she got the earlier one wrong, so maybe there's cause for hope... Drudge, of course, is blaring that Kerry finds "comfort" in the early exit polls.
However, to the extent these early polls mean anything, they don't mean anything good. That post is based on a rumor, it should be noted.

CommentsOf course, the old farts all go out and vote at 4 am, or whenever it is that they wake up, so early forecasts might not be a good prediction in this state. Posted by: Scout on November 2, 2004 02:23 PM
first exits are notoriously off. Calm down. Many many folks vote after work. Posted by: Jennifer on November 2, 2004 02:29 PM
Steady, crew. Remember 2000. We don't have a clue. It's in God's hands. It's stochastic, baby. Posted by: See-Dubya on November 2, 2004 02:30 PM

Oh, yeah, you're a big fat defeatist wussy. Posted by: someone on November 2, 2004 02:34 PM
Speaking as a student at the University of Cincinnati, I've been fighting off scores of "Get Out-The-Rock-Vote-Or-Die" volunteers with a stick all day. Before noon I had been asked if I've voted yet seven or eight times. "Do you know where you are supposed to vote?" "You have a right to vote!" "Have you voted yet?" "Don't let anyone tell you you can't vote!" "Here, have a card that will explain why you are allowed to vote." Cripes, if I wasn't voting Bush after class today already, I would be after that hassle in the hopes that in the neo-Fascist World Order that would inevitably follow his dark victory, those nimrods would be buried up to their eyebrows in sand. ace, even Kos says these numbers are notoriously inaccurate. Bush was ahead in 2000 and still lost the pop. vote. 2002 mid day exits were WAY OFF also it doesn't include early and absentee votes. Posted by: Jennifer on November 2, 2004 02:37 PM
Republicans are still at work. Posted by: golden boy on November 2, 2004 03:35 PM

CNBC ranks Tennessee as dead last in its “Worst States to Live” analysis. The specific reason is that cross-dressing men in TN are denied access to children and women’s private spaces. Texas finished 49th. The “worst” states were all red states. [Buck]

Well I guess they could have opened it on the Snake Canyon.
In response to someone asking why the video tape doesn't show Tyler Robinson's face (PS, it does, but it's crappy video so it's blurry):
Candace OwensFor such an "open and shut case" they have thus far provided ZERO evidence of anything outside of a criminal government conspiracy, the likes of which hasn't been seen since the JFK assassination.

And a song with another song as an intro, too: Be it sight, sound, smell, or touch There's something Inside that we need so much The sight of a touch, or the scent of a sound Or the strength of an oak with roots deep in the ground The wonder of flowers to be covered and then to burst up Thru tarmac, to the sun again Boy do they look like absolute dorks.
