Not Good: Kerry By One in Florida

Well, she got the earlier one wrong, so maybe there's cause for hope...

Drudge, of course, is blaring that Kerry finds "comfort" in the early exit polls.

Update: Now, everyone keeps telling me not to take these early polls too seriously, and I'll take that advice.

However, to the extent these early polls mean anything, they don't mean anything good. That post is based on a rumor, it should be noted.

Of course, the old farts all go out and vote at 4 am, or whenever it is that they wake up, so early forecasts might not be a good prediction in this state.

first exits are notoriously off. Calm down. Many many folks vote after work.

Steady, crew. Remember 2000.

We don't have a clue. It's in God's hands. It's stochastic, baby.

Oh, yeah, you're a big fat defeatist wussy.

Speaking as a student at the University of Cincinnati, I've been fighting off scores of "Get Out-The-Rock-Vote-Or-Die" volunteers with a stick all day. Before noon I had been asked if I've voted yet seven or eight times. "Do you know where you are supposed to vote?" "You have a right to vote!" "Have you voted yet?" "Don't let anyone tell you you can't vote!" "Here, have a card that will explain why you are allowed to vote." Cripes, if I wasn't voting Bush after class today already, I would be after that hassle in the hopes that in the neo-Fascist World Order that would inevitably follow his dark victory, those nimrods would be buried up to their eyebrows in sand.

ace, even Kos says these numbers are notoriously inaccurate.

Bush was ahead in 2000 and still lost the pop. vote.

2002 mid day exits were WAY OFF

also it doesn't include early and absentee votes.

Republicans are still at work.
