« Update: They're Simply Going to Steal Ohio | Main | The Coming Hit on Kerry »

Big Kerry Hit Tomorrow?

I'm a little skeptical, because it's going to appear in the Washington Times apparently, and the mainstream media pretty much flat-out refuses to follow-up any stories they break. Also, if it's really "major," why hasn't it slipped out already? The Bush documents (forgeries, of course) story was tipped and previewed a week ahead of time.

Nonetheless, PowerLine has the (very sketchy) details.

Thanks to FrankV.

Yeah, let's not get our hopes up about this. Whatever the information, anything from the Washington Times is generally ignored by the MSM.
Unless they've got a big smoking gun with tons of DNA evidence, we're gonna waste our energy blogging and/or commenting about it.

We need to focus on educating undecideds and helping our friends and neighbors get to the polls.

I got the Times to release the story early. You can find it here.

Short of video of Kerry slaughtering puppies or Viet Cong I do not see it mattering one way or another. It was have to be that inflammatory for it to matter at this point. The only that can change things are hardcore Kerry voters who will never vote for bush. Though I suppose they could opt to stay home or vote nader out of protest. I am intrigued.

Though I can imagine a truly outraged group of PETA folks who voted early threatening riots and suing the courts to have their votes negated so they can vote for nader. That would be funny.

Maybe it's not the Times, but the Post. Woodward's exposing Kerry's refusal to answer his 22 questions seems pretty explosive to me.

I we in such bad shape that we have to hang our hopes on this? I really, really hope not!

Am also skeptical of any real or imagined big hits on Kerry, but feel that as long as W doesn't screw the pooch over the course of the next several days, he won't need the help.

breaking news (none / 0)

Some people think this might be a good candidate (but not necessarily a good story)

Here's the story:

The only bad part of the trilogy are the Frodo/Sam chapters in The Two Towers. They're repetitive, slow, and mostly about the weather and terrain. But most everything else is good. Weirdly, the Frodo-Sam chapters in Return of the King are exciting and action-packed and among the best in the trilogy. (Though the chapters with everyone else in Return of the King get pretty slow again. Mostly people talking about marching towards war, and then marching towards war.)

[A]n asshole is somebody who looks at a painting of two toddlers doing something totally normal for toddlers and decides that it represents homosexuality and then thinks that publicly saying that is somehow edgy and clever. Instead it is doing what we accuse the Left of, that is sexualizing young children. If that describes you, own it.

Update: Reports say The Warthog has been deployed against men
Thanks to fd. Yeah, thanks a bunch, Chief.
Reports: The A-10 Thunderbolt, better known as The Warthog, has been unleashed on Iran
It's a heavily armored (the pilot sits in a titanim bathtub) slow-and-low loitering plane with a massive minigun firing depleted uranium rounds. The capability it brings is the ability to just fly big circles over the country waiting for a target to present itself. This is a weapons platform for eliminating vehicles and personnel. Its first task might be strafing the seas, clearing out any remaining attack boats and minelayers.
Update: My ballpark estimate for a reasonable cost for a wildlife overpass (suitably padded to sate the thirst of Democrat grifters) was $15 million. Turns out, that was a good estimate. That's how much it cost Denver to build one.
