Shock: Josh Marshall Makes an Interesting CatchKaren Hughes earns her first several paychecks by going, quote, "apeshit" over the AP fiction about boos-for-Clinton. And getting the retraction. He's also working on a "major" story linking Ms. Hughes to several New York crime families. He can't say more at the moment, for reasons which will soon become evident. Sometime in 2053, when we're all zooming around in cool-ass flyin' cars. Another Shock: Kevin Drum, Nitwit, Esq., actually posts the audio clip of the alleged "booing," and candidly admits there is either no booing at all or very little. Boos Clues: The American Thinker dubs this smoking-gun evidence of deliberate liberal media dishonesty. He wants a forthright admission of deliberate distorition and a public apology, and that's just for starters. posted by Ace at 05:20 PM
CommentsIt's nice to catch these guys in a lie every so often. However, I suspect the media will probably embargo this story as it has the Swift vets story. It may get to the point where legal action has to be taken to get AP to retract its lies. Posted by: Zhang Fei on September 4, 2004 05:38 PM
The media news filters are used to getting away with anything they want. What a shock to be confronted by an army of outraged citizens, demanding that they either tell the truth or get the shit kicked out of them. Posted by: Funluvin Ho on September 4, 2004 06:04 PM
There's been a recent flying cars update: Still Decades Away. http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=624&u=/ap/20040827/ap_on_sc/flying_cars_1&printer=1 Too bad. If Joshua Micah Mephistopheles Mobuto Seko TK421 Marshall has to wait that long, he'll probably lose his stunning complexion. Cheers, Posted by: Dave on September 4, 2004 07:16 PM
But there are supposed to be flying cars, Dave. Can't you see the problem here? I was *promised* flying cars. Posted by: Smack on September 4, 2004 11:13 PM
Sorry Smack, life is filled with disappointment. I recommend that you become a Boston Red Sox fan, you'll learn that lesson well. If you really want your flying car, may I suggest two options: -- Purchase a Pontiac Trans Am, coat it with molecular-bonding agent, install a supercomputer that sounds just like that guy on St. Elsewhere who wasn't Howie Mandel or Denzel Washington, and then kick in the turbo boost. Unfortunately, you'll only fly for as long as it takes to jump a ravine, or Goliath, the killer tractor-trailer of doom. ;-) Cheers, Posted by: Dave on September 4, 2004 11:35 PM
Sorry Smack, life is filled with disappointment. I recommend that you become a Boston Red Sox fan, you'll learn that lesson well. It's actually worse: I'm an Atlanta Braves fan. Posted by: Smack on September 5, 2004 12:04 AM
What ever became of Marshall's BIG STORY on the yellowcake? Would the fact that 9/11 commission essentially said Wilson lied have killed Marshall's (non)story? People read him why? Posted by: addison on September 5, 2004 12:16 AM
Smack-- Oh, come now. At least the Braves *have* a World Series win in recent memory, although I will agree that they never lived up to their potential. Me, I'm stuck being a White AND a Red Sox fan. Just kill me now. Cheers, Posted by: Dave on September 5, 2004 06:11 PM

What is the UK Regime's plan for protecting the citizens from the savage criminals they've foisted on the populace? They offer NONE. They do, however, have a plan for protecting the savage criminals from the citizens: The citizens must STAY CALM and not get angry and not share videos of citizens being attacked by savage criminals. The public keeps saying "protect us from the foreign savages you have imported against our wishes and over our objections" and the UK branch of The Regime keeps proposing plans to protect the foreign savages from the public. Soclose to what the public is demanding, just, you know, the complete opposite. Just a thought: Maybe you wouldn't have to worry about the public attacking the savage criminals if you actually introduced a plan to protect the public from the savage criminals. Maybe they wouldn't feel as if it was necessary for them to protect the public through self-help.
