Time Magazine Poll Says Superbounce

Time Magazine has it 52-41 for the good guys, according to this post. (I didn't hear it myself, but I assume the poster isn't just making crap up about what he saw on TV.)

Update: Instapundit got a release from Time, and he's posted everything they sent him.

11 points.

Here's the Time poll, but why give them traffic? Instapundit has all the good stuff.

And... I don't know if the whole convention could be reflected in this poll. I doubt there's more than one or two days of convention in the poll at all.

I don't know if the convention's full impact will move further votes, but it may harden the opinions of those who defected from Kerry right before the convention.

"I'M GIVING UP:" So one Democratic operative says to Rich Lowry.

Allah has a day-after roundup of reactions, reconsiderations, and polls.

It's true! Here comes the happy, after the 50-character before the link buffer:

OHMYGOD! I can't believe you actually know about the link buffer, and deliberately avoided putting the link in there!

Thank you! Thank you!

It's actually almost easier just to do the [angle bracket]a href="URL"[close angle bracket]LINK[angle bracket]/a[close angle bracket] thing.

I question the timing of this poll.

47% think Kerry understands the concerns of people like them?

Either these folks need medication, or they need to stop taking drugs, I don't know which.

Given that my Gator football opener got postponed this weekend, this will substitute nicely for and excuse to do spontaneous high fives.

First of all, I have to give a big 'War Eagle' to Paul B. When you guys play LSU and UGA, please please please, destroy their will to live.

Second, the article said the polling was done between Aug. 31 to Sept. 2. Should we see an even larger margin next week?

Outstanding.

The poll is bogus. I say this:

"Kerry can still hope his wife's beauty can carry him into the White House. "

*urp, i think i just threw up in my mouth a little*

Sorry to post this in two threads, but Odub McFish manages to tie in both this thread and the poll thread:

Time to say what EVERYONE is thinkin...John Kerry doesnt have a snowball's chance. Anyone who has listened to him for more than 5 minutes knows that he is an empty suit. (Hell, Dan Rather probably even knows it!)

Zell Miller had the gonads to give voice to the truth and everyone (even the Dems)know it.

Mark my words...Bush in a landslide.

Time to say what EVERYONE is thinkin...John Kerry doesnt have a snowball's chance.

I'm not thinking that, actually. I'm pleased, and I do think Bush is up three or four points right now, but I don't buy the full 11 point spread and I won't until I see three other polls showing the same lead.

And I don't think that this election is over. Not by a long shot.

Bear in mind, all these people now moving to Bush were softly supporting Kerry two weeks ago. They're now supporting Bush-- just as softly.

If they can desert Kerry, they can desert Bush. Let's face it, the economy is growing but not so powerfully that the liberal media can't downplay it, and Iraq, however much progress we've made and however noble and necessary a mission it was, is right now a bloody mess and it could get worse at any time.

We haven't dealt with Moqtada al-Sadr yet. We haven't dealt with him because we fear what will happen when we do. And of course he will force us to deal with him, probably within a month.

And then what happens? Does the security situation improve as the Sadrists slink back to their holes, or does the country explode in civil war?

What is the UK Regime's plan for protecting the citizens from the savage criminals they've foisted on the populace? They offer NONE. They do, however, have a plan for protecting the savage criminals from the citizens: The citizens must STAY CALM and not get angry and not share videos of citizens being attacked by savage criminals.
The public keeps saying "protect us from the foreign savages you have imported against our wishes and over our objections" and the UK branch of The Regime keeps proposing plans to protect the foreign savages from the public. Soclose to what the public is demanding, just, you know, the complete opposite.
Just a thought: Maybe you wouldn't have to worry about the public attacking the savage criminals if you actually introduced a plan to protect the public from the savage criminals. Maybe they wouldn't feel as if it was necessary for them to protect the public through self-help.
