Interesting video. Some key parts: drones were responsible for 70-80% of all battlefield deaths in mid-2025, and I bet it's higher now. The Russian army is incredibly corrupt. Men get assigned to the most dangerous frontline units, the "Storm" units, unless they pay a superior $2,000 to be assigned to a different unit. Furthermore, there is often no real training for recruits -- commanders pocket the money that would have gone towards fuel and ammo costs incurred during training. Much "training" consists just of taking a single picture of soldiers doing something soldier-y, like fording a river, and publishing that as proof that the training was done. Even when it is done, training is only two weeks long.

I don't know what to say. The prism through which I view the world is suddenly cracked. I think this guy's probably a gay hustler/shakedown artist, but I still need to point out that the media is claiming that this guy's denials about his homosexuality undermine his credibility, while McGreevey's lifelong claims of being straight do not seem to damage his credibility much at all. McGreevey says Cipel is gay, Cipel says Cipel is not gay. Of the two, I know that at least one (McGreevey) has been implicated in a scam to use $10,000 whores (eat your heart out, Jessica Cutler) to entrap government witnesses. In other words, McGreevey's having a bit of a credibility problem. And I would not put it past him to hire someone to lie about a previous gay affair with Cipel. On the other side of this equation, we have Cipel himself who, as far as I know, has never hired a $10,000 whore (eat your heart out, Wonkette) to compromise anyone. Who do you believe?
