More Iraq News

Terrorist attacks reach "record lows" during transfer of power, but have returned to previous levels:

Daily attacks on U.S. troops dropped to between 20 to 25 per day between June 28 and 30, defying intelligence reports that predicted a major rebel offensive timed to coincide with the announced June 30 handover date.

Just the opposite happened. In a surprise move aimed at sidestepping the expected attacks, U.S. occupation chief L. Paul Bremer handed power to an Iraqi government on June 28 - two days early. Instead of a rebel offensive, Iraq won a few days of rare calm.

Army Lt. Col. Daniel Baggio said he believed the insurgents' "decision cycle" had been upended by Bremer's unexpected handoff.

The military is still exploring the reasons for the two-day lull. Since then, attacks have returned to their recent levels of 35 to 45 per day, the military said.

Allawi drawing up possible amnesty plan for insurgets, even for those involved in killing US troops.

This is neither unexpected nor particularly objectionable. As has been said before, when you endeavor to make peace, you compromise with those you had been at war with. You don't make "peace" with friends.

This isn't the first time the interests of justice have conflicted with the interests of peace-- it happens every time we negotiate a safe-exit for a vicious tyrant in exchange for a peaceful transfer of power to those opposing him.

If this results in fewer US troops dying in the future, it's a good deal. Yes, it would be better to kill every one of these sonsabitches. But at what point does our interest in justice become outweighed by our interest in seeing as many as possible of our boys come home alive, and as soon as possible as well?

The New York Times, shockingly, continues with its "Objective, Balanced News Coverage" experiment, this time reporting on the "wary pride" of Iraqis in their new indiginous government.

Our captured Marine has been beheaded.

Horrible, of course. But there is a silver lining: this behavior is not shocking nor terrorizing us anymore. We have become resigned to the fact that when one of our people is captured by these butchers, he's already a dead man walking. These murders, while vicious and painful, are really little different in terms of pain than a soldier killed by a roadside bomb. And yet the nation doesn't fly into panic over a single roadside-bomb murder, and they shouldn't cover these murders, either.

I hope no one reads that as indifference about these murders. I'm just stating that the terrorists are experiencing declining returns on their newest barbarities.

Mookie al-Sadr is again urging violence against the "occupiers" of Iraq. Three strikes and you're out, pal.

Iraqis are trying to bring to an end what amounts to a civil war. The idea of forgiveness is not all that alien to America as a way of handling the aftermath of a civil war. "With malice toward none, with charity toward all ..." A. Lincoln

The writers of the Federalist Papers justified the Presidential pardon as having been provided as a tool for undermining insurrection. Pardoning criminals and letting them escape punishment is yet another type of injustice that I don't have a problem with when it's put to politically responsible use.

But politically responsible use is relative to our needs, not Iraq's. The problem for us is that too early extension of amnesty by the Iraqi government to those who have killed American soldiers is too easily understood as a license to go on attacking our soldiers. If the Iraqi government is deficient in teeth, then we must put teeth in the amnesty by making it plain that we'll kill those who don't put down their weapons now and go home. We can only justify the injustice of amnesty if it weakens our opponents, not if it strengthens or emboldens them in any way. We should make this plain to the new government of Iraq and quietly explain to them what we have learned from Machiavelli: "The great can be made and unmade in a day."

According to what I read at www.commandpost.com, the amnesty does NOT apply to those who have actually killed someone. It sounds like this is an attempt to split off the terrorist supporters and wanna-bes from the hard core cadres, which is a good idea for the Iraqi government.

Now they're saying that the (presumably) abducted Marine is alive, and because he is a Muslim has been released to someplace safe in exchange for leaving the US armed forces.

If this is true, I really hope he meets some of his former brothers-in-arms again someday.

But who knows? They may only be saying that so they don't get a political black eye for killing a Muslim.

In response to someone asking why the video tape doesn't show Tyler Robinson's face (PS, it does, but it's crappy video so it's blurry):

Candace Owens
@RealCandaceO

Because as I demonstrated on my show, there were MANY young men that all woke up and decided to dress in Maroon shirts and light shorts on the day of the Charlie's assassination.

The footage can be any one of these young men and in my opinion is likely multiple of them.

If Tyler Robinson's defense would like to contact me-- I'd be happy to supply them the folder of the maroon boys that I began archiving when I noticed the bizarre fashion trend.

I have thus far ID'd two of them, but will focus on IDing the rest of them when I am back on air.

I have maintained that the Feds had multiple decoy maroon boys on the ground that day. Without a clear image, they certainly cannot declare it is Tyler Robinson which is why all the Zionist influencers are hoping they can simply hypnotize the public into trusting blurry images and videos.
For such an "open and shut case" they have thus far provided ZERO evidence of anything outside of a criminal government conspiracy, the likes of which hasn't been seen since the JFK assassination.
More "fedslop" that Cavernous Nostrils is too smart to be taken in by:

BREAKING: Lance Twiggs says that Robinson admitted to him in-person on Sept. 11 that the message he had sent the night before (presumably, messages sent while he was trying to retrieve his rifle the night of Sept 10) was true. He says Robinson told him "He wishes he hadn't done it."
Fenix Ammunition
@FenixAmmunition

Photos of the ammunition recovered from Tyler Robinson.

Remington headstamp on the case and despite the somewhat low resolution on the photo you can see the somewhat blunted nature of the projectile's tip.

This is a Remington Cor-Lokt soft point round. It's SPECIFICALLY designed to deform, slow down, and prevent an exit wound. Available at literally every single gun store and sporting goods store that sells ammunition.

In fact, 16 out of the 17 .30-06 varieties manufactured by Remington use some type of expanding, deforming, or fragmenting bullet. Only ONE of their products uses a full metal jacket projectile that could/would be expected to leave an exit wound.

Here's a clip of them sitting in my desk.

This has been the most easily debunked claim of their entire web of lies and it's really mind blowing considering this is exactly what you would choose for an assassination.

But yeah, definitely keep getting all your information from the DEI hire and the Portland pizza boy. I'm sure they know more about this than I do.

Post here, showing Tyler Robinson's ammunition, matching this guy's own box. And it is an expanding-tip hollow-point round.

Boy these Internet Experts (TM) sure do get a lot of things wrong.
