Take what you made last year (already available from W-2's) multiply by some number between 0 and 1 (hopefully closer to the former) and cut a check. The whole problem comes from taxing some kinds of income at different rates than others, and allowing some expenses to detract from income but not others. Get rid of it, make the Tax Code one line: "income in the US will be taxed at 20%". Hell, set up a progressive tax structure and make it 10 lines.
