PETA's Solution To Mideast Violence? Shut Down Circuses

You can't make this stuff up, but you can link it after Allah sends it to you:

PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) President Ingrid E. Newkirk said last Thursday at the International Nonviolence Conference in Bethlehem, “we call all attacks on civilians, whether against Palestinians in Jenin or Israelis in Tel Aviv, what they are: War crimes.”

I know: the Israelis don't target Palestinian civilians (apart from some isolated cases of Israeli terrorist extremists). But wait, it gets better.

“If we want an end to violence, it means that we must first reject the slaughterhouse, the animal circus, and animal skins and remember that kindness to animals has been a cornerstone of every great religion in the history of the world," she added.

We have to do that first?

Are these people f'n' insane? We have to stop exploiting animals before we stop murdering innocent human f'n' beings?

It's very important that war be stopped, this particular MacArthur Genius Grant winner believes. Because war -- let's not sugar coat this -- frightens animals.

Newkirk, author of seven books on the treatment of animals, did not shy away from directly linking human and animal suffering, and said that "to allow one form of violence to exist while asking for the eradication of the other is painfully hypocritical."
"War is a frightening thing for all living beings. Every day, millions of animals, who pledge allegiance to no flag, and who have done nothing to provoke aggression, are the victims of the longest running undeclared war in human history: the war on the animal nations," Newkirk added.

They're not anti-war, they're just on the other side.

The "other side" in this case being with the chickens, trained bears, and Tijuana sex-donkeys.

(Oh, by the way, no one was killed in that firebombing.)

I think animals should be protected whenever possible sure...but BEFORE human beings?? And, how can they even mention circus' and wars against humans in the same sentence???

Check out this site. PETA HQ in Norfolk, VA, kills a far higher percentage of the dogs and cats it takes in than any legitimate animal shelter in the Tidewater region. They'd probably take their operation nationwide if they could.

PETA wants to ban curcuses becuase they have trained animals and so they want to stop terrorists and yet PETA itself suports terrorists local terrorists such and the Animal Liberation Front ALF and Earth Liberation Front ELF and gave money to and now employ a convicted terrorist RON CORNADO so looks whos talking FEED PETA TO THE LIONS
