40 Most Obnoxious Quotes of 2005

At Right Wing News, including such gems as:

40) "I took a poo in the woods hunched over like an animal. It was awesome." -- Drew Barrymore

20) "Until your daddy learns that it's not 'fun' to kill, keep your doggies and kitties away from him. He's so hooked on killing defenseless animals that they could be next!" -- From a PETA booklet called "Your Daddy Kills Animals," which was designed to be handed out to children

16) "[My new dog] Gudrun is named after the infamous Gudrun Ensslin who was the female leader of the Baader-Meinhof Gang, an art terrorist group from the 70s. Terrorism was different then. It had a chicness to it, which made it seem less like a dangerous menace and more like fashion. -- Margaret Cho

Maybe Drew could poo on Margaret Cho. That would be awesome!

. He's so hooked on killing defenseless animals that they could be next!" M

It's funny because it's true.

As a father who fishes, sometimes you'll finish up dinner and have the urge to kill something defenseless.

That's why my kids have 'barn cats' despite the fact that we don't have a barn.

While I agree it is in poor taste to name your dog after a terrorist and even more poor taste to go public with it, I do agree with her that: "Terrorism was different then. It had a chicness to it, which made it seem less like a dangerous menace and more like fashion." Or, at least that was how it was viewed by the young and dumb.

Margaret Cho?

Poor taste?

Bite your tongue.

Posted by: Slublog on December 12, 2005 12:42 PM

Thats funny about Cho naming her dog Gudren. I named my female Shar Pei Cho because like Margaret, she has more fat rolls than i can count and has a bad habit of defecating where she eats.

Margaret Cho -- the best piece of ass that Quinton Tarantino could get.

Really. Cho was the best he could do. QT's powerful position of successful Hollywood director can't overcome his geek-ness.

Posted by: Timmy in the Well on December 12, 2005 12:54 PM

Wasn't Tarantino doing Mira Sorvino at one point?

Leftist's Choice of the Top Outrageous Quotes Since the Bush Administration( that were never said.)

1. Iraq is an imminent threat - G W Bush

2. Iraq has obtained yellow cake from Nigeria - G W
Bush

3. If Strom Thurmond had been President we never would have trouble with the blacks like we have now. - Trent Lott

4. Iraq had nuclear weapons - Dick Cheney

5. I question your Patriotism - every conservative (ok that one is true)

Anonymous trolls should be put on eternal croch-shampooing duty.

Posted by: Lee Atwater on December 12, 2005 01:29 PM

You know, after reading thru these, I'm struck by one overwhelming observation.

When will Bush stop being so bellicose and uncivil? Change the tone, Mr. Bush. YOU AND YOUR GOON SQUADS ARE SULLYING OUR NATIONAL DISCOURSE BY FORCING LIBERALS TO CATCH A NASTY CASE OF POLITICAL TURRETS SYNDROME!

Think of the kittens.

Posted by: Fred on December 12, 2005 01:50 PM

My asshat of a mayor (O'Malley) made #34.
How was 9/11 like Bush's budget proposals?

They're both attacks on our "metropolitan core."

That's great. And the outrage gets directed at Republicans' political use of 9/11?

Maryland is the dirty hellhole of Democratic politics. Stay away, if you can.

What a lot of idiotic blabber from DREW and i have never seen ET and i never will and as for PETA someone should throw them to the sharks the sharks wont eat them just nibble and move on

Posted by: spurwing plover on December 12, 2005 03:06 PM

Yes, because it's so much less dangerous and more chic to kill innocent bystanders to further a secular political ideology than a religious dogma.

Margaret, you ignorant slut.

Drew Barrymore's quote belongs in the "most awesome" category. One time I left a steamer in the cold, crispy mountains on top of a beautiful bed of columbines. It was awesome. Like autographing nature's beauty.

Posted by: rd on December 12, 2005 09:42 PM

Now I have a ready answer for the age-old question: Does a bear shit in the woods? I don't know, but me and Drew Barrymore do.

Posted by: rd on December 12, 2005 09:43 PM

I think that Dick Cheney should announce that he is running for president and his VP will be his cock. Then after Helen Thomas offs herself he can say "just kidding"!
El Ricko is right about O'Malley, this is a mayor who announced how proud he is that a full 50% of Baltimore City residents are employed. For him a 50% unemployment rate is a good thing.

What is the UK Regime's plan for protecting the citizens from the savage criminals they've foisted on the populace? They offer NONE. They do, however, have a plan for protecting the savage criminals from the citizens: The citizens must STAY CALM and not get angry and not share videos of citizens being attacked by savage criminals.
The public keeps saying "protect us from the foreign savages you have imported against our wishes and over our objections" and the UK branch of The Regime keeps proposing plans to protect the foreign savages from the public. Soclose to what the public is demanding, just, you know, the complete opposite.
Just a thought: Maybe you wouldn't have to worry about the public attacking the savage criminals if you actually introduced a plan to protect the public from the savage criminals. Maybe they wouldn't feel as if it was necessary for them to protect the public through self-help.
